We’re looking for a caring, reliable and experienced nanny to cover two and a half weeks of annual leave for our regular full time nanny. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday from 8 September to 19 September, with the opportunity to do a handover on Thursday 4 September and Friday 5 September before solo care begins on Monday 8 September.
Hours: Monday to Friday, mostly 8:30am starts, finishing between 4:30pm and 6:00pm (rostered and known in advance)
Children:
- Girl, 7 years old (Grade 2)
- Girl, 5 years old (attends kindergarten Mondays and Wednesdays)
- Boy, 22 months (attends music class Mondays at 9:30am)
What You Can Expect:
- A welcoming household with no special needs
- A sweet toddler who loves giving hugs, wearing gumboots, and politely says “no thank you” and “yes please”
- A helpful 5 year old who can tell you the routine while her 7 year old sister is at school
- A consistent nap schedule for the toddler: 12:30pm–2:30/3:00pm daily
- No driving required – everything is walkable, and we’ll provide a parking permit if you wish to drive to us
- Support from our cleaner (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and housekeeper (Mondays and Fridays)
- No complex meal prep required – but the ability to butter bread and slice apples is appreciated!
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced with young children
- Calm, attentive and engaging
- Organised and punctual
- Confident caring for three children, including managing a toddler's routine.
