We are parents of a four year old girl and in need of childcare and light household management. We both work in the TV/Film industry on fluctuating schedules. 

Responsibilities include:
    •    Pickup from daycare on occassions
    •    Evening routine - play, dinner, bath, bed
    •    Light cleaning/laundry and organization of the home
    •    Cooking of simple meals / snacks

Ideal candidate:
    •    Five years experience working with young children
    •    Energetic, observant, caring and can play/make things fun
    •    Has car and is a responsible driver, with clean driving record
    •    Strong communication skills
    •    Self-starter, initiative-taker
    •    Flexibility of hours with understanding of film industry hours

Position details:
    •    Guaranteed 15hr/wk
    •    Additional nights/weekends possible
    •    Weeks when school is off: @ full days/full week
    •    Competitive daily rate (to be discussed based on experience)

We’re looking for a caring, reliable and experienced nanny to cover two and a half weeks of annual leave for our regular full time nanny. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday from 8 September to 19 September, with the opportunity to do a handover on Thursday 4 September and Friday 5 September before solo care begins on Monday 8 September.

Hours: Monday to Friday, mostly 8:30am starts, finishing between 4:30pm and 6:00pm (rostered and known in advance)

Children:
- Girl, 7 years old (Grade 2)
- Girl, 5 years old (attends kindergarten Mondays and Wednesdays)
- Boy, 22 months (attends music class Mondays at 9:30am)

What You Can Expect:
- A welcoming household with no special needs
- A sweet toddler who loves giving hugs, wearing gumboots, and politely says “no thank you” and “yes please”
- A helpful 5 year old who can tell you the routine while her 7 year old sister is at school
- A consistent nap schedule for the toddler: 12:30pm–2:30/3:00pm daily
- No driving required – everything is walkable, and we’ll provide a parking permit if you wish to drive to us
- Support from our cleaner (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and housekeeper (Mondays and Fridays)
- No complex meal prep required – but the ability to butter bread and slice apples is appreciated!

Saara is mostly independent as an 11 yrs old and your work would mainly be around helping her as a elder sister / friend along with basic household chores. I have a six year old son who requires school pick up at least three days per week. I would need someone to be available from 3 pm to 6 - 7 pm. During this time if you could help with his homework, play with him and prepare dinner for the family that would be amazing. I may ask for errands to be run and light cleaning. Note; I have two small poodles who are very friendly.

Hi! We have 2 great and busy girls, 8 and 10, and live in Kew. We both work in the city.

We are looking for someone to pick them up from Hawthorn West primary (you can walk ~1km from our house) on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursdays each week. The afternoon would involve helping them get snack and ready for their activities, as well are prepping dinner sometimes. They are largely self-sufficient. It would be 2-3 hours each afternoon.

Hi, our daughter is 23 months old and we now require an extroverted nanny starting in Mid August for the following times every Thursday 3.30-7, Friday 3.30-7pm and some Wednesdays from 10.30 - 5. Its very important to be talkative and engaging as she feels more comfortable with such personalities. Hello, we are looking for a nanny to help with our two boys for two full days a week - Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00am - 6:00pm.

The role will involve looking after our 12 month old all day, doing drop off and pick up of our three year old from kinder (15 minute walk away) and then dinner and bath for both boys.

Our baby is a very happy little boy, that loves nothing more than being outside and exploring the world. Our toddler is fun and a little bit cheeky. He loves playing outside, emergency vehicles, puzzles and drawing.

We have a large, 7-year old chocolate Labrador. Being comfortable walking him would be a plus. 

Pitching in around our house (laundry, meal prep, emptying dishwasher etc), when our baby naps would be greatly appreciated, as well as doing local errands (such as going to supermarket or post office).
