We are a family of 4, with two children, a 7 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. We are based in Hawthorn.

We would love someone to help us on:

- Monday afternoons (12-5)
- Wednesday mornings (7.30-11)
- Thursday all day

Monday and Wednesday would be helping with school and kinder drop off or pick up (both walking distance). If time allows after drop off or pick up, some light tidying of the kitchen or laundry would be appreciated.

Thursday would be school drop off and pick up, along with care of our 4 year old daughter.

We both work from home, so having someone who can confidently take ownership of the day, plan activities and get the boys out of the house has worked really well for us.

There are no school or kinder pick-ups required.

You’ll need your own car and a full driver’s licence. We provide the car seats.

We also have a friendly family Groodle, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs, but there is no dog walking or pet care involved.

Alongside caring for the boys, we’re looking for someone who is happy to help keep things ticking over at home, including resetting the boys’ bedrooms, kitchen and living area, keeping on top of their things and preparing food for them during the day. We have a cleaner, so this is more about keeping the house organised and reset rather than heavy cleaning.

We’d love someone who naturally sees what needs doing, is confident taking initiative and can help make those two days run smoothly for the whole family.

Previous nanny or childcare experience is important, and we’re looking for someone who can commit to the role for the remainder of 2026.

Full-Time Nanny Position, Richmond

We're a busy, organised family with three children in Richmond looking for an experienced, full-time nanny to join our household. We've had a full-time nanny since our eldest was 3 months old, and this is a genuinely valued role in our family.

The children

- Two girls, aged 8 and 6, who attend the local primary school (7 minutes' walk from home)
- One boy, aged 3, who will attend kinder locally in 2027.
- They enjoy cycling, soccer, swimming, reading, dancing, crafting and outdoor play. No special needs.

The role

- Full-time position, commencing Thursday 5 November, with two days' handover alongside our outgoing nanny before her last day on Friday 6 November
- School drop-off and kinder drop-off, both on foot. No car or driving is required for the role, though a parking permit is available if you'd prefer to drive to work.
- During term time in 2027, all three children will be out of the house on Mondays and Wednesdays (kinder 8.30am to 1.00pm, school 9.00am to 3.30pm). We'll generally roster a later start on these two days
- Light housekeeping (eg laundry, children's bed linen changes) and basic children's meal prep (snack preparation) will form part of the role, to bring the position up to full-time hours during these gaps
- Full-time employment with a proper contract, WorkCover cover, payslips and annual leave

What we're looking for

- Prior nannying experience highly desired
- Someone who's reliable, warm with children, and comfortable being part of a busy family routine
- Ability to walk for 25 minutes to and from kindergarten with a pram (and a 3 year old on the return journey) twice a week during term time
