Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Bríd Madden, and I’m from Ireland. I’ll be relocating to Australia end of September early October , which I’m incredibly excited about. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit over the years. I love to explore new cultures and new adventures, adapts quickly, and is always eager to embrace new experiences. I have a double honors degree in Psychology and Education from Swansea University, and I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children. Over the past few years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in childcare and youth work. I’ve worked at summer camps across Germany and the UK, where I was responsible not only for supervising and caring for children, but also for designing and leading engaging games and activities that were both fun and educational. As well as lesson planning and night supervision. These roles taught me how to balance fun with structure and gave me a solid foundation in working with young people of various ages and backgrounds. I have also volunteered with special Olympics and taught both adults and students with Down syndrome to swim and play football. Which I found very rewarding and further taught me about patience and communication. One of my most rewarding roles was working as a Welfare Manager at the Alpadia Language Camp in London. In this position, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers, managing a team of staff, coordinating daily schedules, resolving conflicts, and liaising with parents. It was a role that that thoroughly improved my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and I found it incredibly fulfilling to create a positive, nurturing environment for both staff and students. In addition to my camp experience, I’ve done a significant amount of babysitting, particularly with children with special needs, including those with Down syndrome, autism, and non-verbal communication styles. These experiences have taught me to be patient, empathetic, and attentive, and I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and joyful environment tailored to each child's unique needs. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outdoors. I absolutely love being active—whether it’s playing lacrosse, football, Gaelic football, swimming, or hiking. I’m always seeking out new experiences and adventures, and I thrive when I’m surrounded by nature and movement. Another one of my passions is cooking. I love spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, trying out dishes from different cultures, and cooking nutritious meals for friends and family. I’d be delighted to share that joy in your home, whether it’s preparing meals for the kids or baking together as a fun afternoon activity. Overall, I’m a warm, dependable, and energetic person who genuinely enjoys caring for and connecting with children. I bring a strong work ethic, a sense of fun, and a commitment to creating a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’d be more than happy to chat! Warm regards, Bríd Madden

I am a bubbly, outgoing individual looking for part time or casual work. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Australian Catholic University and aspire to become a paediatric nurse. I pride myself on my excellent communication skills and track record of role diversity. Growing up, I have always been immersed amongst children of all ages, which promoted my interest in becoming an Out of School Hours Educator (OOSH), for primary school children. During my time as an OOSH educator I've been exposed to a variety of situations which has given me the necessary skills to become easily adaptable to any situation. No matter the task I am dependable and driven. I am nurturing by nature, so being able to create a supportive and safe environment for children that encourages creativity and growth is incredibly rewarding for me and aligns with my values. Some services I can provide are school pick up and drop off, homework help, light house duties and activities (school holiday outings, etc). Ideally my main role should be care and entertainment for the kids. Please feel free to ask for my resume or contact me for any questions!

Hi everyone! My name is Charlize and I am a current university student at UNSW studying engineering. I moved here from NZ in February and I'm looking to make some extra money here and there whilst doing a job I enjoy. I love working with children, I find it super rewarding and usually quite fun, although it can be tough at times. I have pervious experience babysitting around my neighbourhood in NZ and I also used to volunteer at the children's afterschool care centre at my high school, playing with the children until their parents came to pick them up. Being at university, my timetable is pretty flexible so I can usually try to accomodate for whenever you need babysitting. Since I recently moved, I haven't had the chance to get a WWCC however I'm entirely willing to get one if need be. Thanks! Let me know if you're interested 😊
