Meet Jemma: A nanny and babysitter in Camperdown, NSW

I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Media & Communications at the University of Sydney and living at college, which keeps me busy and deeply engaged in a vibrant community. Alongside my studies, I’m gaining industry experience through my internship at a PR and marketing agency, where I’ve been developing strong organisational and communication skills. Beyond that, I’ve always had a genuine passion for working with kids. With over 4 years of experience babysitting and nannying children aged 1–13, I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, punctual, and proactive. Growing up as the youngest of four siblings (with three older brothers!) taught me independence and responsibility early on—I often managed the household and quickly learned how to balance care with structure. I hold a driver’s licence and police check, and I now have more flexibility in my schedule to dedicate time to families who need ongoing support. On top of childcare, I also offer tutoring in primary and high school subjects, drawing on my academic background—achieving academic honours and top Band 6 results in my HSC through persistence and hard work.
