About Us
We're a British/Swedish family embarking on an exciting Australian adventure! I will be working full-time during our stay, so we're travelling with grandma to help care for my three children:
• Two boys, ages 8 and 6
• One girl, age 3
• All children are bilingual (English/Swedish)
We're looking for a fun, upbeat and energetic nanny who can commit to supporting our family through both phases of our journey - from helping grandma with all three children during our settling-in period, to then focusing on my youngest when grandma and my boys return back to Sweden. Continuity and consistency are really important to us, especially in a new country!
Position Overview
This role consists of two distinct phases:
Phase 1: August 20 - September 6
• Care for all three children alongside their grandmother
• Support with homeschooling activities
• Plan and facilitate educational and physical activities
• Transport children to various activities and outings
Phase 2: September 8 - October 4
• Primary focus on caring for 3-year-old daughter (as grandmother and boys will return back to Sweden on the 7th September)
• Work alongside mother based in Concord during full-time work hours
• Collaborate with a second nanny to provide comprehensive care
• Daily travel between Bondi Beach and Concord required
Essential Requirements
• MUST be available for the complete duration (August 20 - October 4)
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Comfortable driving children safely to activities and appointments
• Experience with multiple children of varying ages
• Ability to support educational activities and homeschooling
• Flexibility to work Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday) as needed
• Commitment to both phases of care described above
• Current First Aid certification (including CPR)
• Valid Police Check/Working with Children Check
• Ability to provide invoices for services (ABN number)
• Minimum of 3 relevant childcare references
• Appropriate insurance coverage (public liability and professional indemnity)
