We’re a busy, professional family based in Gardenvale/ Elsternwick looking for a kind, reliable, and proactive nanny to support our two delightful children—Thomas (8) and Lilli (14)—with before and after school care during the school term. The role is ongoing and regular, with hours as follows: if you can’t fulfill all we are happy to have 2-3 Nannie’s across the week.
• Monday & Wednesday: 7:00am – 8:30am & 3:00pm – 6:30/7:00pm
• Tuesday & Friday mornings: 7:00am – 8:30am
• Fortnightly Friday afternoon: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting our youngest child with the morning routine (getting dressed, brushing teeth, packing bag, lunchbox support)
• School drop-offs and pick-ups (Lilli makes her own way home)
• Supervising after-school activities including homework, violin practice, and occasional bedtime
• Light household tasks such as stacking/unstacking the dishwasher, keeping kitchen surfaces tidy, putting on a load of laundry or folding clothes
• Occasional cooking or preparing simple family-friendly meals (for children only) most meals will be made by Mum
• Encouraging the children to tidy up after themselves and keeping their spaces (bedroom/bathroom) neat
• Being present and playful—our kids love games like UNO and connect well with nannies who are both warm and grounded
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s licence (own car is essential for the interim period)
• Previous nannying or childcare experience
• Confident supervising primary school-aged children and teens
• Organised, respectful, and able to take initiative
• Available through the remainder of 2025 (with potential to continue into the new year)
