Meet Rochelle Therese: A nanny and babysitter in Springvale, VIC

Hi, I’m Rue. I completed 1 year of a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of a Bachelor of Nursing in the Philippines, but I wasn’t able to finish (both are 4 yr course) due to my move here to Australia. I’m currently studying Kitchen Management because my dream is to open my own restaurant back home in the Philippines.

Back in the Philippines, I volunteered as an emergency service provider for Detente y Ayuda (DYA) ambulance services. I’m also a proud member of the Rotary Club and part of a youth association that organizes school retreats and outreach programs.

I genuinely love working with children — I’m patient, caring, and know how to manage different personalities. I have experience with babysitting, doing household chores, and I can also help kids with their homework or assignments. I’m good at creating a calm and safe environment for them, whether it’s playing, studying, or simply making sure they feel heard.

Right now, I’m also in the process of converting my Philippine nursing license here in Australia and working hard to save up for my own car.
