Meet Sophia: A nanny and babysitter in Parkville, VIC

Hi! I’m Sophia - a warm, enthusiastic, and reliable babysitter based in Melbourne.

I’m currently a university student at the University of Melbourne, pursuing a career in arts education, and I have a deep passion for working with children and nurturing their curiosity about the world.

With over four years of experience in both volunteer and paid roles, I’ve worked with children aged three and up, including in childcare settings. I bring a positive, energetic attitude to every job, and I love helping children feel supported, inspired, and safe.

I hold a current Working With Children Check, a Police Check, and am certified in HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (St John Ambulance). I am also more than happy to provide written references upon request.

As a local Melburnian, I’m very confident navigating the city and surrounding areas via public transport. While I don’t have a full driver’s licence, I do hold my red P-plates. I also adore animals, so I’m very comfortable working in homes with pets.

Beyond childcare, I’m a passionate cook and would be glad to assist with meal prep or snacks as part of my care.
