Meet Emily: A nanny and babysitter in Parkdale, VIC

I am a 22-year-old currently studying my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education at Holmesglen, and I graduated from Mentone Grammar in 2021. I have previously been employed as a nanny for an 8-month-old girl and a 2-year-old girl. While being a full-time nanny, I have also done casual babysitting jobs, ranging from 6 months to 6 years old. I have been given the responsibility to feed them, wake them up, put them down for naps and sleep at the end of the day, prepare meals for them, and look after them while the parents have been at work all day. I enjoy caring and looking after people, as I would say I am a very empathetic and nurturing person. I’d say I have a very bubbly personality as well as being a bit goofy, and I always love a good laugh.
