Meet Rosie: A nanny and babysitter in City Beach, WA

Hi, my name is Rosie! I have just finished my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and now I’m looking for regular nannying work, but I’m open to casual babysitting too! I have experience nannying for multiple families with children ranged in age from 4 - 12, taking them to after school activities, preparing simple foods and helping with homework. I have also regularly babysat my cousins (6, 8, 11) while staying with them on an isolated farm. I looked after them while their parents were working for up to 10 hours at a time, with the closest neighbours being 30kms away! This experience has meant I have very good practise with conflict resolution and finding creative solutions to problems! My interests are knitting / crafting, baking, regular game nights with my friends and seeing live music! I have my first aid qualification and received emergency training through TAFE. I love kids, and in any social situation I’m the person smiling at the baby on the other table or playing with the toddler that doesn’t really want to be there. I have completed over 250 hours of work placement at a daycare centre which ended with an offer of casual employment, and really valued the experience, especially my time in the babies room helping their development and planning activities for the toddlers!
