Meet Rebecca: A babysitter in Balwyn, VIC

Hello I’m 22 years old and graduated from Methodist Ladies' College in Kew in 2020. I’m currently studying Architecture at RMIT, while also completing a Certificate IV in Early Childhood Education.

Childcare has been a part of my life from a young age—my family has been involved in the industry for over 15 years, and I’ve grown up helping out at our centres. This lifelong exposure has given me hands-on experience caring for children from infancy through to kindergarten age, including those with additional needs such as Autism.

I’m confident in managing anaphylaxis—as someone with firsthand experience, I’m trained in using an Epipen. I also hold a valid driver’s license.

Having been immersed in a childcare-focused environment for so long, I genuinely enjoy working with children and am more than happy to support them with homework and learning activities.
