Meet Maddy: A nanny and babysitter in Rosebery, NSW

My name is Maddy, and I’m currently in my second year of university while working at an OOSH (Out of School Hours) centre. I have over a year of experience as an educator in before and after school care and vacation care, supporting children aged 4 to 12. Prior to this, I gained valuable experience as a casual babysitter for neighbors and family friends.

I’m a responsible and patient caregiver with a natural ability to connect with children, creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. I’m attentive to each child’s individual needs, and my empathy, strong listening skills, and focus on safety to help create a positive atmosphere. I can assist with helping with homework, doing school drop-offs and pick-ups, and keeping children engaged through interactive activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and creative play. I’m also happy to lend a hand around the house to support busy families.
