Meet Sharon: A nanny and babysitter in Montmorency, VIC

I hold a diploma in Children's Services, a Level 2 First Aid certificate, and a Working with Children Check.

I have 14 years of experience in early childhood education. For four years, I operated a family daycare business from my home. Additionally, I spent 10 years working in early learning centres, caring for children from 6 months to 5 years old.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is planning and programming activities based on children's interests. I strive to encourage their independence while supporting their social and emotional development. I also document children's learning and development through observations and learning stories.

I enjoy the outdoors and believe that children excel during outdoor activities, as these experiences foster holistic growth. Also, reading, music, dance, arts and crafts are vital aspects of children's development.
