Meet Carolina: A nanny and babysitter in Perth, WA

I’m Carolina, a caring, responsible, and reliable babysitter originally from Colombia. I recently obtained my Working With Children Check and I’m excited to begin supporting families in Perth.

While my experience as a babysitter in Australia is limited, I have cared for children of various ages during my studies in Early Childhood Education and Psychology in Colombia. I love supporting children’s development through playful, engaging activities that stimulate learning through fun.

I have knowledge in comprehensive childcare and early stimulation, including fine and gross motor skills, speech development, and growth stages. This helps me tailor activities and identify signs when something doesn’t seem right.

I’m also experienced with newborns and handle them with great care. Although I don’t yet hold a First Aid certificate, I have basic knowledge of how to treat minor injuries and respond calmly in common emergency situations.

I’m a native Spanish speaker with a functional level of English. I'm willing to negotiate rates while I continuously improve my language skills.
