Meet Rutendo: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Burwood, VIC

My name is Rutendo , I am a 21 year old female from Zimbabwe and I am currently a student at Deakin University. I enjoy listening to music and taking walks along the beach. I have always had a special place in my heart for working with children.

My skills:

- Responsible, I have babysitting experience as well as taking care of my own little brother for the first 9 years of his life while my parents worked. I have also babysat for 7 families over the course of 6 years.

- I am able to cook, from a young age I have enjoyed preparing meals for my family and for the children I cared for.

- Good with time management, as I am a student, I know the importance of managing time well.

- Good with children, as I have mentioned, I have worked in babysitting for a while and have cared for my little brother. I enjoy taking care of children.

- Good at following instructions, I respect the wishes of the parents and primary care givers of the children I babysit and I am happy to follow their lead in taking care of their children.

- Good with communication, as a babysitter I find that communication with the parents and primary care givers is extremely important.
