Meet Renee: A nanny and babysitter in Northcote, VIC

Hi, I’m Renee!

I have extensive experience babysitting and nannying, as well as working with young people in different settings. For several years I worked with Generation Next, a youth mental health education company, where I supported programs focused on wellbeing, resilience, and equipping young people with practical tools to look after themselves.

I’ve also volunteered with Kookaburra Kids, spending weekends helping children from families affected by mental illness enjoy fun, safe activities and build positive connections.

Alongside this, I’ve spent many years babysitting and nannying for families in Byron Bay, where I lived for six years before moving to Melbourne. My approach is caring, calm, and attentive—I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children.

On a personal note, I was also honoured to support my best friend in delivering her baby three years ago, which gave me a whole new appreciation for the journey of caring for little ones from the very beginning.
