Meet April: A nanny and babysitter in Melbourne, VIC

Hello!

I’m originally from Northern California and spent the last seven years living in Hawaii. I’ve recently made the move to Melbourne to begin an exciting new chapter with my fiancé, who was born and raised here.

I’ve been working with children since I was 15, when I started as a swim instructor for all ages, from babies to adults. For the past seven years, I’ve worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children with special needs in both one-on-one and group settings. My work has focused on helping kids learn, grow, communicate, and thrive through data-driven and compassionate care.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and have completed three years of American Sign Language (ASL). I’m now eager to begin learning Auslan and continue supporting families here in any way I can :)
