Hello 🙂🌺
I’m originally from Northern California and spent the last seven years living in Hawaii. I’ve recently made the move to Melbourne to begin an exciting new chapter with my husband, who was born and raised here.
I’ve been working with children for over ten years. I started as a swim instructor (teaching all ages, from babies to adults). For the past seven years, I’ve worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children with special needs in both one-on-one and group settings. My work has focused on helping kids learn, grow, communicate, and thrive through data-driven and compassionate care.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and have completed three years of American Sign Language (ASL). I’m now eager to begin learning Auslan and continue supporting families here in any way I can.
In addition, I have completed my WWCC, police check, and hold my own ABN.
I have been working full time since August 2025 with an amazing family that have two kids aged 3 and 10 months. Due to unfortunate financial reasons, I’ve had to decrease my hours with them. I am still with them two days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays).
I’m looking to increase my work hours and am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I would be happy to provide a letter of recommendation from the family I am currently with.
Please reach out if you think we would be a good match. Thank you ☺️
