Meet Emilia: A nanny in Perth, WA

My name is Emilia, I am 27 years old and I come from Sweden. I am a registered nurse and have worked in the hospital with obstetrics and gynecology. I would describe myself as positive, energetic and highly driven. While I am trained in healthcare, my passion for people, communication, and fast paced environments makes me a strong asset for you.

When I was nineteen I was an AU Pair in Boston USA, I lived with two different families. I took care of children between the age of 2 months, 3 years and 4 years for two months and then the ages of 6, 10 and 12 years for 10 months. My English skills developed, and I am very comfortable with the English language. I learned a lot about responsibility and patience. I learned to work independently and to adapt to the children's different needs and personalities. I worked as an Au Pair for one year.

My fiancé and I will stay in Australia for at least one year on a Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417). We love traveling and that is what we are going to do when we are not working. We are blessed to be godparents to my sister in laws little daughter of one year. I want to work with children again because I truly love spending time with children. Their energy, honesty and curiosity inspire me, and I enjoy supporting their growth through play, routine and care. Working with children is a meaningful way for me to combine my passion for kids with cultural exchange.
