Meet Shae: A babysitter in Moonee Ponds, VIC

Hi, my name is Shae. I’m 28 years old and currently working full-time (9–5) in the CBD.

I have extensive childcare experience and a genuine passion for working with children. From 2017–2019, I worked as an Au Pair in America, caring full-time for a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old. Prior to that, I have babysat regularly from the age of 13, caring for children of various ages. I also spent a year volunteering at school camps for teenagers, which further strengthened my ability to support and engage with young people.

I am available to work from 6:00pm onwards (depending on location from the city) and am happy to work late nights or overnight, up until 8:30am if needed. I am regularly available Sunday through Thursday and am also open to working Fridays and Saturdays as required.

Working with children has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I’m incredibly excited to return to this field and support families with reliable, caring, and experienced childcare.
