Meet Ella: A nanny in Camberwell, VIC

Hi there! I’m Ella, I’m 19 and based in Camberwell. I currently work as a children’s entertainer and party host, where I bring fun and creativity to life through balloon twisting, singing, dancing, games and play. This role has helped me develop a warm, energetic, and patient approach- qualities I’m excited to bring into babysitting. I’m passionate about creating safe, nurturing spaces where children feel heard, valued, and free to explore their creativity and emotions. Beyond my entertainer role, I have over ten years of experience in drama and performance, including leadership and mentoring younger performers. These experiences have taught me the importance of guidance, encouragement, and emotional support, which I carry into all my interactions with children. I also have recently started volunteering at an aged care facility, deepening my empathy and understanding of connection across generations. My core belief is that kindness and genuine relationships are essential to wellbeing at every age, and spreading joy is essential in any human interaction! Next year, I’m excited to begin my psychology degree, aiming to become a child and adolescent clinical psychologist.
