Meet Ann-Marie: A nanny and babysitter in Hamilton Hill, WA

My name is Ann-Marie, I am embarking on a change of career and am looking for casual babysitting whilst I wait for acceptance to study a Certificate in becoming an Education Assistant. I am adaptable to continuing being a part of the family and changing my study to part time should a suitable opportunity come available.

I have been a professional and reliable Receptionist/Administrative employee who is looking for a new direction in assisting Teachers and children in education. I am looking for a position where I can exceed at using my personal experience in raising children and Grandmother skills and enthusiastic approach to create a harmonious learning space for children whether they be young or becoming teenagers.

As a mother of two daughters and a proud grandmother - one of whom has just started Kindy, I have a deep appreciation for the important role in creating nurturing and inclusive learning environments. My firsthand understanding of the needs of young learners is complimented by my earlier career experiences as both a school librarian (1991-1992 Goldsworthy Primary School) and a swimming teacher within the Education Swimming sector (approx 1993 South Hedland). These roles instilled in me a strong sense of patience, creativity and the ability to connect with children across various ages and abilities.

My time as a librarian allowed me to foster a love of reading and discovery in students and my own children, whilst my experience as a swimming teacher taught me how to guide children with encouragement and structure. Both roles sharpened my communication and instructional skills, which I am eager to bring into the world of nurturing children. I only left this pathway to focus on raising my children in their younger years and being a stable guidance in the growing years. And when reentering the workforce followed a dream of working within the Accounting industry.
