Meet Kate: A nanny and babysitter in Paddington, NSW

Hello, my name is Kate and I am an energetic and responsible 19 year old. I am Australian and grew up in the Eastern Suburbs but am currently doing my bachelors degree in Italy. I am home for the summer between mid July and mid September 2025 and would love to find some work as a nanny / babysitter.

I love spending time with children I have experience babysitting children aged under 1 year and 2 - 6 years. I am currently working as an au pair in Italy for a family with an 11 month old and a 6 year old. During high school I was involved in organising and running Red Cross weekend camps for children (usually aged 8-14), casual babysitting (children aged 2-6) and helping with after-school activities for children. I have also previously cared for the infants of my family members.

I have considerable first aid experience as I was a St John Ambulance Cadet in high school and completed a semester of Medicine in Australia before receiving a full scholarship to move to study overseas. I have completed first aid courses on three separate occasions, most recently in 2024.
