Meet Merlyn: A nanny and babysitter in Heidelberg Heights, VIC

Hi!

My name is Merlyn, and I’m a qualified Early Childhood Educator with nearly five years of experience. I currently work full-time at a childcare centre in Kew and completed my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at Box Hill Institute in December 2021.

I have extensive experience working with children aged 6 months to 5 years and have also provided tutoring and babysitting for children aged 5 to 12. Working across these age groups has helped me develop strong skills in adapting to individual needs, supporting development, and creating engaging, nurturing environments.

I’m often described as easygoing and patient. I genuinely love working with children and feel privileged to be part of their learning and growth.

I’m currently available for weekday evening and weekend babysitting. From early September, my availability will expand to include more before-school, daytime, and after-school opportunities—likely from Wednesdays to Sundays.
