Meet Yi-Hsuan: A babysitter in Cleveland, QLD

Hi there,

I’m really interested in this position and would love to apply. I’ve helped care for my cousin’s baby before, so I do have some experience being around little ones. I studied psychology at university, so I have a good understanding of attachment theory and really value the ideas behind Circle of Security Parenting.

My mum also studied early childhood education, so I grew up hearing a lot about children’s development. In additon, something about babies really fascinates me. They feel like such unique little beings, and I’m genuinely curious and caring when I’m around them.

Currently, I’m working at a fish and chips shop, and my employer there can provide a reference for my work ethic and reliability. While it’s not childcare-related, I believe it shows I’m responsible and trustworthy.

I’d be very happy to support you and your little boy. He sounds absolutely lovely, and I’d be glad to get to know him and be part of his little world.
