Meet Lina: A nanny and babysitter in Elwood, VIC

Hello, my name is Lina. I’m a qualified Early Childhood Teacher from Berlin, Germany, with my Diploma recognised by ACECQA as equivalent to a Diploma-level educator in Australia.

I’ve been working with children for 15 years in kindergartens, schools, and private households. Before moving to Australia 3 years ago, I was the Co-Director of a kindergarten, caring for children aged 10 months to 6 years. Since arriving in Melbourne, I’ve been working as a nanny with the same families, building long-term and trusting relationships.

My favourite age group is 0–3 years, and I’m known for my calm, empathetic, and nurturing approach. I have experience caring for newborns as well as twins, and I love spending time outdoors exploring, playing, and learning with children in a natural environment. I’m fluent in both German and English and currently have two days available as the children I care for are starting kindergarten.
