Meet Georgia: A nanny and babysitter in Doncaster East, VIC

Hi, I’m Georgia!

I’m a 25-year-old who relocated to Melbourne 6 years ago from regional Victoria to pursue my dream career in education. I graduated my Bachelor of Health, Physical Education with a minor in Food Technology at Deakin at the end 2023 and have been teaching Year 7 and 8 students across all three subjects areas since - which I’m loving!

I have other extensive experience working with children of all ages that were completed prior to full time teaching, including:

- Professional placements across various schools

- Part-time work at a before/after school and holiday care program

- A year as a nanny for a family, which I loved

- Regular babysitting for my partner’s family (he’s an uncle to 8 kids!)

Because I love being around kids and keeping busy, I’m looking for extra work during the school holidays, as well as casual babysitting. I’m known as a kind, caring and easy going person. Living out of and away from home from such a young age has taught me strong skills in independence, organisation, resilience and responsibility so I’m more than happy to help with daily routines, homework, cooking, cleaning, outings, and keeping kids active and engaged. I love the outdoors and often spend my free time going for walks with my puppy, at a social gym, or exploring new places.

I hold all relevant qualifications, including First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma, Austswim, WWCC, Police Check, a full driver’s licence, and I own a safe and reliable car. I’m also happy to travel for the right family!
