Hello all,
I am a 22 year-old seeking casual/part time work in nannying from now until mid March 2026.
I have been working as a nanny for the last 3 years for the most incredible family whilst I studied my nursing degree, which I have now finished. Due to high placement demands at the end of my degree, the family have gotten an au pair to help out and as such my hours have decreased. I am now looking for another family that is searching for someone to help out over the summer months before I start my job as an RN at Royal Melbourne Hospital next March.
Throughout my nannying experience I have gained skills in all aspects of daily childcare, including kinder and school pickups, meal preparation, bottle feeding, nappy changes, establishing and maintaining sleep routines. I offer consistent emotional support and developmentally appropriate engagement by assisting with homework and encouraging curiosity and confidence through play and learning. I also travelled with the family where required, providing flexible and trusted care in varied settings. I am First Aid and CPR certified, with a calm, patient, and reliable approach to caregiving. I provide clear communication to parents, have strong situational awareness, and a confident, nurturing presence that promotes both safety and trust with both parents and children. I have also been lucky enough to have nursing placements on paediatric wards where I provided high acuity care for newborn to 17 years olds, gaining amazing clinical experience.
If this is something that you have been looking for and think I could be a good fit for your family, please reach out!
I hope to hear from you soon :)
