Hi! I’m Kate, a caring, reliable, and energetic nanny with experience looking after children of all ages. I’ve cared for kids through babysitting local families in high school as well as my own younger sister and cousins, so I understand how to create a fun, nurturing, and safe environment where children feel supported and happy. I genuinely love spending time with kids playing, reading, exploring outdoors, or simply being there to help them grow and feel secure. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks like tidying, dishes, and meal prep to make things easier for busy families. Families describe me as warm, trustworthy, and patient. I’m currently available for part-time to long-term work and would love to become a positive part of a family’s day-to-day life. Looking forward to connecting with you

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am very excited about meeting and getting to know you. ABOUT ME: I have been providing childcare over the past 22 years, and I have looked after more than 50 children in this time. The last 9 of those years, I have been a Nanny. I have worked with many different families: with 1-4 children; twins with a younger sibling, all girls, all boys, brothers & sisters; with an age range of 9mths - 12 years old. As all children & families are different I like to stay adaptable, to meet the needs of the unique situation. Some children are runners, some are quite contemplators, others always need to be crafting and creating big cardboard constructions, while another is quite happy to sit while colouring in and drawing hrs on end. However they all ask questions non stop, lols. And I love that because of their curiosity, I too learn; from having to google answers to the questions I don’t have answers for, e.g. I now know the oldest living animal is the Greenland shark, and it is guessed to have a lifespan of 250-500 yrs. With the current oldest one guessed to be 300 years old! But I only learned this because one child I looked after LOVED the ocean and all its wonders. :) I find I lean towards the Montessori Method of teaching children. I follow the theme of their current interest for play, games and conversations, and I like to incorporate their current obsession, be it space or dinosaurs into our word & math games and everything else we do together. MORNING ROUTINE; breakfast, lunch boxes, school bag packing, day-care/kinder/school drop offs -For the little ones when at home and not at daycare/kindy. I like to have our week planned. Be it excursions to the zoo, park, an indoor play center, library time or classes that helps their development: that the parents have enrolled them into, or I have found that the Mum’s & Dad’s like; e.g. Gymbaroo, Ready steady go, All Sports etc., to activities we can do at the house like baking or painting or even a playdate with their friend/s. HOUSE MANAGEMENT; groceries, maintenance of pantry & basic medicine (ie expiry dates & organisation), light laundry duties, light house keeping, tiding up after myself & the little ones, keeping the kitchen clean & hygienic, school holiday & pupil free day planning, meal planning, food & meal prep (dietary requirements taken into consideration) multi-tasking and other Ad-Hoc tasks. AFTERNOON ROUTINE; networking with other parents & carers at the children’s school- that the children are friends with or do extra curriculum’s with, extracurricular coordination (this is where the networking can sometimes help with car pooling & swapping weeks), planning of play dates, supervise-assistance with homework and practice for their extra curriculum’s. With additional extras from me if wanted/needed or time permits (eg. Music theory, maths etc.) ***I have help children further develop their music skills with my attention and knowledge than what they get in 1 30min class a week. And I have helped with development of their Math & literacy skills. HOWEVER my proudest achievement was some how managing to help my French charge (when an AuPair in Paris) go from an almost F (from her former AuPair) in her French Class to an A. While I was only at a very basic beginner level with my own French skills. EVENING ROUTINE; Shower/bath time, dinner, oral hygiene, an evening game (if time permits) and attend their unique bedtime routine. HISTORY SUMMARY: •2002-2003 I started child caring when I was 14: for my piano teacher’s son. I cared for him 3 days a week, (after school) from the age of 2-8, while his mother worked from home: I had to master the skill of noise level control, while I was young & noisy myself. •2003-2005 Once I was 16 I began to babysit for other families during the evenings & weekends. •2006-2009 Durning my tertiary studies I babysat casually between my part-time job and classes. •2010-2015 I babysat and assisted as a mother's helper, whilst working 4 part-time jobs. •2016-2017 I was an AuPair in Paris. And fell in LOVE with France. •2017-2017 Back in Melb; I did causal & part-time child-care, for families with babies, toddlers & preschoolers. Until I found a family that needed a Full-time Nanny. NOTE: for the below the ages are how old the children were when I left. •July 2017-July 2020: F/T Nanny—4 Days a week: Full Days, for a family of 5; 3 girls aged: 7, 10 & 12. • Feb 2021-Aug 2021: Temp P/T Nanny—5 Days a week: Split days, for a family of 4; 1 boy aged 9 & girl aged 7. •Sept 2021-Dec 2024: F/T Nanny—5 Days a week: 2 Full & 3 Half days, for a family of 4: 2 boys aged 5 & 9. ESSENTIALS: - Valid Victorian Drivers Licence - WWCC: exp. 26/10/2028 - Police Check: exp. 20.09.25 - Level 2: First Aid (inclusive: Asthma, CPR exp. June 2025, & Epi-pen) exp. June 2027 - CV: with copies of my credentials - References If you have read this far, I look forward to receiving a message from you. ☺️

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Claudia, I’m 18 years old and grew up in Malvern, where I attended Lauriston Girls’ School. I have an older brother, and growing up in a busy, family-focused household sparked my love for caring for children. I now nanny and babysit regularly, and I find it such a rewarding role. I have over 4 years of experience working with families and have cared for children of all ages, from babies as young as 6 months through to teenagers. With infants and toddlers, I’m confident in all aspects of care, including preparing bottles, feeding, changing nappies, and settling them for naps or bedtime. I understand how important routine and consistency are for little ones, and I take pride in providing gentle, attentive care. At the moment, I nanny for a 5 and 7 year old two to three times a week. My role includes school pickups, preparing snacks and dinners, helping with after-school routines, baths and planning engaging activities. Alongside this, I do casual babysitting for other families, which has given me experience with a wide range of ages and personalities. When I’m with children, I love keeping them busy with activities that are both fun and stimulating. At home, this often looks like baking, doing arts and crafts, reading together or playing games. I also enjoy taking kids out to the park, the library or on little adventures, giving them opportunities to explore and learn in different environments. Families describe me as reliable, warm, and proactive. I always put the children’s safety and happiness first, and I make sure to keep open communication with parents so you feel confident and comfortable at all times. If you have any questions or would like to know more, feel free to reach out, I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I have taken my company's redundancy program, ending my employment last July 2024. This is a big reset for me (knowing that my circumstance , now with an older daughter who is already independent)have changed. I have done my 5 months calming down, have few volunteer works in line, and still have a lot of energy at 52 years old to do more and be active. Although I have no professional baby-sitting experience in my resume, I have to say I love being around children, and am proud to have cared for my daughter , and have helped raised and cared for a niece and a nephew. I like doing my domestic chores (a household of 3) from cleaning, gardening, vacuuming, ironing/laundry, cooking, bedroom grooming, and will be comfortable doing these for a job, on top of caring for the baby/children as a priority, with care and respect. I have a very reliable car, have been driving for the last 25 years(with a clean record), and I have a current Working With Children Certificate (WWC) as a volunteer. If it helps with my application, I am willing to go for a baby sitting trial even without pay. I am up for an interview and suggested trial as i understand the importance of blending well with the dynamics of your family life style/work/domestic requirements. I hope to hear from your soon.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hello Mums and Dads, I know how crazy life can get; I have been a nanny for a good 10 years and I am willing and ready to help with the run around and keeping the house in order so you can focus on work and enjoying the kids in the evenings. I have extensive experience helping children with learning difficulties or behavioural difficulties (autism, anxiety, adhd and non- defiant disorder), I’ve also spent time at a childcare centre and a local primary school, caring for young children with such needs. Sadly after five years with a gorgeous family, it was time to part ways as they moved overseas, so I am ready, waiting to be a ‘Merry Poppins’ for a new family. My name is Olivia. I’m a compassionate, fun and patient 30-year-old Nanny and professional ‘Mums Helper’, who lives in inner Melbourne. I have been working closely with children and their families for over 8 years and I absolutely love my work. Over the years I have worked with a broad range of families and children (aged 2-15) including extensive experience with children who have various special needs, particularly Autism and also children with behavioural difficulties. There’s nothing more rewarding than putting in the work and having the patience and compassion when a child is struggling and then seeing them transform and blossom into the best versions of themselves. I have been working for a beautiful family with two boys (ages 10 and 7- the 10 year old has autism), at the end of this year it will be five years but sadly they will be moving to South Korea for the fathers work with the Defence Force so I am in need of work for in the New year. Growing up with many nannies (some great and some not so) I knew exactly the sort of Nanny and child caretaker I wanted to be. Someone who can be ‘silly’ (when the times right) and can have a laugh, who enjoys getting my hands dirty whether it’s arts and crafts, playing around in the backyard or building sand castles on the beach. I love reading stories and going on excursions whether it’s the Zoo, museum or just the local beaches and parks. I am also very experienced at helping children with their homework. 2020/2021 has also brought me new experiences as I had the chance to home school two boys. I am a strong believer that all caretakers should put away the ‘screens’ and be interactive and involved in the child/children’s lives as we play an important role and can have a huge positive impact across many aspects of a child’s life (creatively, play, learning, confidence building etc). I also understand it’s not all about the fun and games. Parents need help too. If you need help finding routine again, de-cluttering of toys, cleaning-up after the kids, washing and ironing for the whole family, organisation of home and just finding some calm amongst what can feel like ‘chaos’- I can help. I also love to cook and bake and can help with meal preparations, school lunch box prep and creating the occasional treat (or more) for the family to enjoy. If you need help with birthday parties; including birthday cakes and party food- I’d love to help. I can help with grocery shopping and any errands that are needed. If you’re only wanting a date night and just need a babysitter for the night I’m also available for any adhoc babysitting at short notice. I have my own car (2016 Hyundai i30) with 1 child seat and a full license. I have my first aid, double Covid Vaccination and Working with Childrens Check certificates.
