Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Aspa Tsakmakis, and I recently came across your advertisement on Find My Babysitter. I’m based in Armadale and currently seeking a casual or part-time nannying position within the local area. I’m 25 years old and completing a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources) at Swinburne University. Over the past few years, I have gained extensive experience in childcare and professional settings, most recently working in recruitment and people management. Having decided to step back from corporate work to focus on my studies, I am eager to return to a more hands-on, fulfilling role supporting families and caring for children. I have comprehensive experience caring for children across a wide range of ages, from newborns through to school-aged kids. My previous roles have included looking after two energetic boys (aged 5 and 8) and two wonderful girls (aged 4 and 6). My responsibilities covered school pick-ups and drop-offs, meal and snack preparation, creative and educational play, bedtime routines, and general household assistance. With infants, I am confident in managing feeding schedules, nappy changes, and sleep routines, ensuring comfort and consistency at all times. Beyond childcare, I am happy to assist with cooking, lunch preparation, light housekeeping, and transport to extracurricular activities. I take great pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and valued. Building positive relationships with both parents and children is something I truly enjoy. I hold a current Working With Children Check and am available for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required. I would love the opportunity to discuss how I can support your family’s needs. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at your convenience. Warm regards, Aspa Tsakmakis

Looking for: Part-time

Hello, my name is Robyn and I am 30. I am originally from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for 5 years now. I have six years experience as a nanny. I have worked for various families with children aged between 6 months and 11 years, part time and full time. These have been a mix between sole care and home help roles. Through these roles I have developed a number of skills which I believe are valuable in nannying and childcare. Examples include providing a safe and fun environment for children, coming up with activities which foster learning and development, and respect for the family’s way of raising their children. I currently work for one family across two afternoon/evenings. I can provide a resume and outstanding references for you to call if you would like. Caring for children and seeing them develop and grow is something that brings me joy and is very rewarding. I am a reliable, hard working person who always brings a positive attitude to the day. I believe my kind and caring personality is perfect for childcare. I understand that hiring a nanny is indeed like bringing another person into your home and family. It would be much appreciated if you would take the time to consider my application. I would love to meet with you to see if I would be a good fit for your family.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there! My name is Mel. I'm an educator in the performing arts, with a passion for music, theatre, and learning and have +10 years of experience in childcare, nannying and babysitting. I'm a performer and teacher by trade, with qualifications from NIDA (The National Institute of Dramatic Art) and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and I hold a Masters degree in Performance Teaching from The University Of Melbourne. I have very real connections with families I've met through this website, and have been taking jobs from Find A Babysitter for years, so I have lots of positive reviews to speak to the natural affinity I have with kids! I nannied consistently for a beautiful family with two toddlers over the past last two years and have also worked as an Educator/Carer at the popular Kool Kidzz holiday program, an Educator and Carer at Penleigh & Essendon Grammar School in the music and drama programs and as an Arts & Crafts teacher in shopping centre workshops. I'm a genuinely enthusiastic, warm, bubbly and playful person who adores playing with children (and is happy to, for hours on end!) but can be equally firm and instil boundaries when required. I'm totally unfazed by a noisy, busy household and pets are never a problem (in fact, always a plus). I would love to hear from you if you think I might be a lovely fit for your family's needs! I am always looking for casual babysitting work, so feel free to reach out! Best, Mel

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

INFANT / NEWBORN NANNY Hi Families, I’m Jasmine - a Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing (MCHN). I’m also a Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator and very lucky mum to two beautiful boys (two under two)! Over the last 11 years, I’ve worked as a Private Nanny, Paediatric Nurse, and Childcare Educator, supporting families through the newborn stage and beyond. I’ve had the privilege of working in nursery rooms, supporting new parents in their homes (both live-in and live-out), and caring for children at the Royal Children’s Hospital. I’m now looking to return to the workforce (ideally from February 2026) and I’m hoping to find a family with a infant to love and support, as connecting with a family during those early months and being part of their journey is something I truly cherish. I’d like to think I bring a calm, confident, and nurturing approach to my work, with a focus on building trust and helping families feel supported through each stage of their little one’s development. I’m confident in all aspects of infant care: organising/implementing nap routines and gentle sleep training, introduction of solids/preparation of baby food, nappies (including cloth) and toilet training, bathing, bottle and equipment sterilisation, keeping nursery tidy and organised etc. I also have a safe and reliable car, with a clean driver’s record and two fitted car seats (rear facing). Further, as an experienced household manager, I can help with any household duties including: laundry, kitchen tasks (dishes, meal preparation etc.), and the running of appropriate errands. My Qualifications include: Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma of Child and Family Health Nursing, Certificate 3 in Children Services (childcare qualified), First Aid, CPR, Police Check & Working with Children’s Check. If I sound of interest and could potentially be a good fit for your family, I’d love to hear from you to connect. Warm regards, Jasmine

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there, My name is Chloe and I've been nannying/babysitting for many years around the Bayside area. I nannied full-time for two separate families between June 2017 and August 2019 whilst completing my undergraduate studies, and have babysat for various families in the area since 2016. I grew up in a big extended family (on both sides), and have always been surrounded by kids, toddlers and babies. I studied Nursing/Midwifery for a year after school, and whilst this wasn't the career for me in the end, I learnt a great deal in that year. I'm still very interested in childhood development and love getting to know kids of all ages; I think they can teach you great perspective and how to enjoy the little things in life. I also became an Auntie in 2023 and have been helping my brother and SIL out with the little one, so I’m very comfortable with babies and toddlers now! My gorgeous niece has just turned 2 :) I'm involved in a school tutoring program for children living in the Collingwood and Richmond commission housing through Operation Stitches and am finding this extremely rewarding to be a part of. I tutor two Year 6 kids and it's been fantastic to watch them grow in both confidence and skills throughout the school year. A bit about me - I love to get out in nature as much as possible, enjoy gardening and tending to my ridiculous amount of indoor plants! I'm a huge animal lover, and volunteer with a rescue organisation which I absolutely love; they have a farm sanctuary in the Yarra Valley which I try to get to once a month. I also love to cook, head on walks with my 8 yo dog and I certainly get around a board game! Regarding my availability, I was recently made redundant from my corporate role so I'm available weekdays (excl. Thurs & Fri), weeknights and weekends for the foreseeable future. I want to be transparent that I am looking for a full-time role in my field, but I don't know how long that will take; although I don't imagine I'll lock anything in before Christmas. Due to this, I'm not a suitable match for families who are looking for a long-term commitment and I also don't want to waste your time! I have a WWCC, Police Check and First Aid and am happy to provide all of this to you if you'd like. I can also provide you with references, both current and past families. Feel free to get in touch! Thanks, Chloe
