I have been babysitting for over 15 years. I have experience with children aged newborn to 13 years. I also have experience working with children with ASD and ADHD, non-speaking, language and speech delays, PDA, ODD. I have my advanced first aid/CPR and anaphylaxis training, working with children card, NDIS worker screening clearance, and insurance. I am studying to become a speech pathologist. I am a mum & my daughter has her own young children, so I am also just Nana to my adorable grandchildren. I am available on the weekends to babysit, I just require prior notice & if possible, I do like to meet the children before I babysit. I feel that this makes everyone much more comfortable & gives you, the parent, peace of mind. Otherwise, I am happy to arrive at least 15mins early to allow some time to meet & play with the children before you leave. I've completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care & I worked for 9 yrs as the Lead Educator in all the rooms from 6weeks to 6 years. I currently work in the (OSHC) before & after school care program with school age children. I am 54yrs young with four grown children. I love helping people and one of my strengths is organisation. I currently work under the NDIS supporting a four year old and a twelve year old. I absolutely adore these two children and have a wonderful relationship with both families. I loved my job as a Doula, working with mums and bubs.... so thought being a nanny and continuing to be able to work and help children and families would be a great fit for me. I cannot wait to have my own grandchildren so I think i bring that 'nana' vibe when i work with kids. But still young and fit enough to keep up. I love animals, reading and being with my own family.
