Hi I am a middle aged professional nanny and I have been caring, educating and nurturing children for over 25 years. For just over 20 years I owned a family daycare business and from that gained experience and skills to not only care for children of all ages but educate them and run a successful business. The last 5 years I have been going into family homes and looking after all family needs. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person.
