Caring, reliable, and grounded, I’m often described as easygoing with a strong ability to get things done. I’m 33 & live in the Noosa hinterland, with a love for healthy food, active living, and the outdoors. I run my own wedding florist business on the side and share my life with my two beautiful Golden Retrievers, Juniper & Claude. While I don’t have children of my own, I have experience babysitting/nannying and was the sole carer for my late mother during her cancer journey. I provide a nurturing presence, i value routine, and bring genuine care and independent thinking into everything I do.

I have worked in the childcare industry for over 25 years. Caring and educating children from 6 weeks old to 12 years. I believe the best way to learn is through play and using our natural world as a classroom. I love using craft and Auslan to build curiosity and I always encourage laughter.

My name is Deirdre (Dee), I am 54 years old and I am the mother of four adult sons. I have spent most of my adult life working in the childcare industry, from nannying in my early adult years through to in home childcare and then more recently working in a primary school setting as a Teacher Aid. I feel very passionate about the wellbeing, care and fostering positive interactions with children as I know how vital these are in the long term development of the child. A child knowing they are cared for, that they are heard and that they belong - this is always at the forefront of my mind. I am a strong advocate for in home care where children are supported to learn and grow at their own pace and are cared for, encouraged and nurtured while in their familiar surroundings. I am happy to travel for work anywhere around the Sunshine Coast area. I have a current Blue Card and Level 3 Early Childhood Qualifications.

I'm an imaginative, responsible, and friendly babysitter with a passion for working with children. I particularly enjoy reading stories, helping with homework, and playing with pets. I work as an assistant educator at an OSHC in mooloolah before and after school.. i am available everyday from 8am to 6pm and I'm currently studying my cert 3 in school based education support ☺️ i also have my blue card and my first aid certificate, im 22 years old.
