In 2008 I came to Australia from Brazil to study English and Business at the Business College CBD and faculty of education and social work.
I am committed, polite and respectful of people's time and personal space. I'm punctual and always pay attention to different styles of parenting, as it helps me to be the best nanny I can be. I am passionate about the world of children and enjoy art, colouring, reading children's books and watching children's films. Looking for: Full-time

My names Georgia, I’m a 24 year old kiwi who’s been living in Sydney the past four months and would love to be a nanny / help to a family. I am currently doing domestic cleaning/house keeping due to wanting to change things up from the corporate work I was doing after I completed university. I really enjoy this however I would love to have one role to focus on and be able to build up more of a relationship in one setting. I love cooking, staying active, helping others and families, organising and being outdoors. I would describe myself as really adaptable, great at taking initiative, caring, friendly, warm and outgoing. Unfortunately I don’t have any professional nannying experience however I have grown up with a big extended family (my mum has 8 siblings) and have been bought up caring for and being around young ones all my life. I am a really fast learner and have succeeded in a huge range of roles and nannying is one I would flourish in.

Hi families! My name is Georgia, I've been working as a nanny in New Zealand and Australia for over 12 years. I nanny a beautiful four year old girl and have been with her since she was a newborn. I also work Thursdays and Fridays in a childcare centre. I have multiple great references from families in Sydney and am more than happy to pass them on. I am curious and passionate about children/ babies and their needs and development. I see myself as more than just someone to 'watch the kids' I like to become part of the family and help keep order in the house, someone the children can trust and go to for comfort, someone to educate little ones and look out for their well being and help them learn and grow in a safe environment. I enjoy being involved in children's day to day lives and the bond I get to form with them. I put everything I have into my job and every child I have ever had the pleasure to nanny, I have loved dearly. I have most of my full time nanny experience with children between the ages of newborn and 4 years. I am knowledgeable about all the usual milestones little ones go through during this time (starting solids, crawling, walking, talking, potty training etc) My specific knowledge with newborns includes sleep and settling techniques, reading babies cues, developing a feed/ sleep routine that suits your families needs. In 2025 I will have availability between 2 and 5 days with flexible hours. I have a police check, WWCC, first aid and CPR. That's just a bit about me and my experience, please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have! I look forward to hearing from you soon, Georgia

Looking for: Part-time

Qualified Sleep Consultant, night nanny and 24hr live in baby nanny (Maternity Practitioner). Hi families, I’m Jennifer. I’ve been working with babies, children, and their families for over 25 years, and I still feel just as passionate about it today as I did when I started. Early in my career, I worked as a live-in nanny for families all over the world - sometimes caring for up to five children in one household, from newborns through to teenagers (managing the whole household + all of the children's activities and needs). It was during this time that I discovered my love for working with newborns, then went on to study more about newborn care and sleep consulting. In 2006, I became a fully accredited Maternity Practitioner through the Maternity Nurse Training College at Reading University in the UK. I'm also a qualified Sleep Consultant and Doula. For more than two decades, I have specialised in postnatal care, night nannying, and sleep training for babies aged 0 - 5 years. I’ve had the privilege of living in with thousands of families across more than 60 countries, often supporting them 24/7 during those precious early months. I’ve guided parents through everything from feeding and settling to establishing healthy routines - and in the process, I’ve developed a gentle, hands-on approach that helps even very young babies learn to sleep soundly (often up to 10 hours a night with feeds). This depth of experience has also allowed me to create my own style of sleep training for older babies. My methods are baby-led and flexible - I don’t follow rigid wake windows or strict routines. Instead, I work closely with each family to create a plan that suits their baby’s needs and their parenting style. My programs have supported thousands of families both online and in person, and I currently consult with up to 10 families per week while also continuing to work as a nanny and in-home sleep consultant. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for hundreds of single babies, more than 50 sets of twins, and two sets of triplets. I’ve clocked well over 70,000 hours living in with families, and every experience has taught me something new. Outside of work, I enjoy living a healthy, balanced lifestyle - I love travelling, staying active at the gym, and cooking. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a meaningful career that allows me to support families during what can often be a stressful time - and help make it feel a little easier. Education and Formal Training: • Maternity and Child Certification - International Maternity Institute of America • MNT OCN Maternity Practitioners’ Award – Reading University, London • Doula and Birthing Education – The Australian Doula College Sydney. • Understanding settling techniques and sleep in babies and toddlers – Southern Cross University, Gold Coast • Children’s Sleep Training – MNT Reading University, London • Post Natal Depression Training – MNT Reading University, London • Breastfeeding Workshop – MNT Reading University, London • Baby care for nannies – MNT Reading University, London • Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course – MNT Reading University, London • PaediatricFirst Aid Training – Australia • Sleep Guidance Program – Night Nannies • Dunstan Baby Language Course – Night Nannies Skills: • Educate and assist parents with their birthing plans • Assist with breastfeeding and postpartum newborn care • Implement age-appropriate feeding and sleeping routines • Monitor the emotional status of mother once discharged from hospital • Educate parents regarding their options in sleep shaping for older babies and implementation of a sleeping program • Educate the father and older siblings in aspects of newborn care to support the mother • Convey numerous methods for postpartum care relating to feeding, hygiene, clothing, newborn’s environment. 6am - 6pm: Day rate starts from $60 per hour. 6pm - 6am: Night rate: $80 per hour Full day rate (20 hours): $1500 per day (min 1 week booking - to 6 months).
