I have always loved spending time with children and naturally connect with them. I enjoy creating a safe, fun and caring environment where kids feel comfortable and happy. I have experience babysitting for family members and close friends, including caring for children of different ages. I am patient, responsible and attentive to each child’s needs, whether it’s helping with routines, playing games, or supporting homework. I take pride in being reliable and trustworthy, and I understand the importance of keeping children safe at all times. I’m a warm, caring and reliable early childhood professional with 20+ years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, including extensive hands-on experience with babies, newborns and infants (feeding, settling, sleep routines and early development). I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a current Working With Children Check, Poilce Check, an up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, SIDS and Safe Sleep training. I also have extensive experience working with children with ADHD, Autism, and children who may not have an official diagnosis but may experience some difficulties with behaviour or expressing their emotions. I am a registered Circle of Security Facilitator - in both parent and classroom approaches. I prioritise kindness, building secure, reciprocal relationships and developing trust and connection. I am extremely patient, calm, compassionate and respectful - both personally and professionally. I am also flexible and respectful of each parents/families parenting approach. I have a full driver’s licence, my own car, I’m a non-smoker, and a big animal lover, so I’m very comfortable with pets. I’m also happy to help out with light housework, washing and meal prep. I live in Cessnock but am more than happy to travel. I dont have children of my own but I am fortunate enough to be an aunty to my young neices and nephews.
