Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hello everyone! I'm Katherine, a 30 year old from Ecuador, excited to bring my passion for child care to Australia as I pursue my studies. Throughout my years of experience, I've had the privilege of working with children ranging from 1 to 12 years old, and I'd love to share a bit about my approach and dedication. What truly drives me is creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children I care for. My warm smile and affectionate nature provide them with the comfort they need to feel at ease with me. From changing diapers and preparing meals to organizing educational games and creative activities, I take pride in adapting to each child's unique needs. One of my key strengths is patience. I understand the importance of taking the time to understand children's emotions and needs, allowing me to build genuine connections with them. I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of ages, which has allowed me to hone my skills in adapting to different stages of development and providing personalized care. In Ecuador, I was recognized for my ability to design games and activities that not only entertain but also promote learning and cognitive development. I'm thrilled to bring this creativity and commitment to learning to the Australian community as I continue my studies. I don't see my role as just a babysitter; rather, I consider myself an ally in the growth and development of the children under my care. My willingness to face challenges with a positive attitude and my constant desire to learn are aspects I believe set me apart. In summary, I am Katherine, a dedicated babysitter with a genuine passion for enriching children's lives through loving and creative care. My educational journey to Australia represents my commitment to ongoing learning and my desire to bring my skills and experience to new communities and cultures.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I’m Bridget! I’m 30 years old and have moved to Brisbane from Melbourne with my partner nearly 3 years ago. I come from a loving family of 5 kids and have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I am extremely confident and comfortable with children of all ages, newborns through to teenagers. Whilst studying I use to be a full-time nanny, for various families over the years. To this day it is still one of my favourite jobs I’ve had. I’ve also worked on many school holiday programs for children with special needs. I’m a reliable, mature, patient, trustworthy, loving and fair but fun person. I love kids and seeing their creativity flow! I have 10 beautiful nieces and nephews back home in Melbourne, who I would always be the on-call babysitter for. I’m missing them so much! I’m more than happy to assist with anything such as: - Cooking/preparing meals of parents’ choice (or getting creative myself) - Cleaning, washing etc. - Helping with homework I’m here to assist you and your family and providing a safe and nurturing environment to your child. I understand that every family is different, and I will respect and adapt to your needs as a family. I hope to hear from you, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. My full time role was recently made redundant. I currently have full availability whilst I’m on the hunt for a new job! Thank you!

Hi, I’m Kate, and I’ve been working with kids for several years now—something I genuinely love. Most recently, I was an OSHC educator, where I also handled the curriculum planning. I’ve led school holiday camps with CYC Burleigh, Mueller Church, and volleyball programs, and I’ve been a youth and life group leader. I have worked with ages 2 - 18 years old. I’m super passionate about sport, creativity, and making things fun. I really believe every child deserves someone who can help them grow, learn, and enjoy the process. I love encouraging children to find what they’re good at and helping them build confidence in those areas. I also volleyball coach for a school on Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Sofie. I’m currently in my first year of Nursing, working toward becoming a paediatric nurse, a career that reflects my passion for caring and helping children. I come from a European background where family, respect, and responsibility are a big part of everyday life, and I bring those values into my work with children. I’m fully vaccinated, have my NDIS Yellow Card, First Aid & CPR, a recent Police Check, and my Blue Card is currently pending. I enjoy cooking simple, healthy meals and am happy to help with light housework to support busy families. Having one year of experience working with children, my experiences began with a new born from a 1 to 6 month period, this taught me how to be gentle, attentive, and confident with routines like feeding, changing, and settling. I’ve also had experience caring for older children aged 4–5. These experiences helped me understand how to support children at different stages of development and how important it is to be patient, creative, and attentive to their individual needs. Even though I’m still building experience, I’m responsible, gentle, and genuinely love working with children. I understand how important it is to create a safe, warm, and fun environment — and I’m excited to support your family however I can.
