Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there, my name is Emika and I am a 37 year old female born and bred on the Northern Beaches. I have been a flight attendant with Virgin Australia for the past 15 years. Prior to this, I was a tennis coach for about 3 years casually and then 3 years full time after having competed through my teenage years. I was very likeable by the kids I coached and through that gained numerous babysitting jobs for those kids. I also used to work during the school holidays running tennis camps where the kids were in my care Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. Working at Virgin, I am constantly helping parents take care of children and infants who travel with them. I have also gained a few babysitting jobs through work colleagues at Virgin. I was stood down in my position at Virgin from March 2020 to January 2021 due to Covid. During this time, I gained numerous babysitting/nannying and housework help jobs. I am stood back up now but currently on ground duties which is more predictable and stable. I am happy to help casually wherever/whenever I can. I always take pride in what I do and ensure I am able to do things to the best of my ability. It feels so rewarding to help people and do a good job doing it. I love seeing children happy and being able to make them smile/laugh. How I treat children is how I would treat my own that I hope to have some time in the near future. With my experience, I have high expectations of myself and you can expect me to always come to work committed to make positive impacts. I love the outdoors and like to eat healthily so have no trouble passing that on to your children should you require that. I have a mini dachshunds so would be fine with animals around. Also happy to help out with around the house chores, dog walking, shopping etc. if neeed be to ease your workload looking after children. I have a full Australian drivers license and WWCC. Every year at Virgin we undertake a first aid and CPR course and every 2 years, we must renew our national security I.D. which means they run a police check on us. If there are any charges or infringements, we would not be able to renew. This has never happened to me in over 14 years. Am also triple vaccinated Looking forward to hearing from you. Ps: please ignore the 1 star. I don’t know how it got there, I’m yet to get a job through here and I contacted the management and they said they can’t remove it as they took over from a previous management. Promise I’m a 5 star!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, My name is Michelle & I am a mother of 2 independent, older children 💙💗 & also 1 husband 💚& 1 (very kid-friendly) 11 year old chocolate labrador dog.🤎 I am also a qualified Early Childhood Educator & have worked as a Childcare Assistant, then Preschool Teacher (at 2 x local Preschools for 13 years) along with minding children as a Nanny/Babysitter, on a permanent basis (during the day &/or before & after pre/school & during school holidays) in my &/or their homes, for over 25 years. I really enjoy interacting with & joining children in their play - whether it be dressups, digging in the sand, building lego or something from recycled or natural materials, playing with dolls/cars, games/puzzles, drawing, painting, making slime/playdoh,reading stories, sliding down the slippery dip &/or baking cookies (real or imaginary) together. I am artistic and very creative, with lots of innovative ideas that I love to share, to spark their imaginations & ignite creative thinking in a fun, safe, stimulating environment, providing guidance & choice by offering a wide variety of materials & open ended activities, while they "accidentally" learn & develop new skills, through our play & interaction. I have a light filled art & craft playroom, specifically set up to cater for our creativeness (aka creative mess !!) at my home, with a large open plan loungeroom/kitchen, covered balcony & shady backyard, where we can make, create, bake & play together. I live in walking distance to 2 x parks & also Manly Dam, where we can play &/or go for a bush/nature walk. I am also happy to take them on outings elsewhere (like zoo, beach, library, playgroup, sport/dance/swimming lessons, etc) too. I am a non smoker/drinker with a clean driving record & own a modern, reliable car, with 1 childseat & 2 boosters. I am very patient, caring & chatty, but also a very hard worker, who is happy to help out with basic chores & automatically tidy up after we play. I hold a Certificate 111 in Childcare, a current Working with Children Check & am also a registered carer. I have also completed many Professional & Personal Childcare Development Courses/Workshops (including First Aid, Infection Control-Covid 19, Allergy/Anaphylaxis) & can provide these (& many more) Original Certificates, along with many excellent References & Contacts from both my work at Preschool & with the many families I have cared for. Obviously, as a Preschool Teacher, I am hoping to find a family looking for an ongoing Nanny/Babysitter to care for their child/ren (preferably Preschool age) to replace the position I have held for the past 3 years, 1-2 full days per week. If you'd like to chat about your needs further, just drop me your email, so I can forward my phone number/resume & references to you, as I can't send via this website. I hope to hear from you soon.
