Job Details: Part-time

$30 per hour

Looking for a nanny for my 2 year old daughter. She doesn’t have any special needs or allergy. I am a stay-at-home mum and looking for someone for 5 hours per day, 2 days a week so I can have some time to myself. I am flexible with the days. I need someone willing to do these regular hours for consistency. From time to time, I may also be open to a few hours in the evenings for me to be able to attend some social events/dinners.

We are located in Docklands and have a tram stop right in front of our apartment for those taking public transport. We also have secure free parking if you prefer driving. There are lots of outdoor and indoor toddler friendly activities that are within walking distance and we have yearly passes to some attractions nearby. Also, our apartment has lots of space and a play room so there will be lots to do on a cold rainy day or a sticky hot day.

My daughter is very social, curious and creative. She loves exploring outdoor and nature. She loves dancing, reading, colouring, building activities, riding her bike, listening to music and lots of imaginative play. I am looking for someone that will truly put in their time and effort towards fostering her development. In other words, im not looking for a child minder im looking for someone we can use long term as our family grows.

Posted by Kerry 17 hours ago

Job Details: Part-time

$30 per hour

Hi there!

I am looking for help with my two kids after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I have a son aged 10 and a daughter aged 12. We live in Albert Park. We are a very happy, kind, drama-free, hard-working family and we're looking for a nanny with a similar approach to life. This job will suit a responsible student in her 20s, with a drivers' licence.

You will work Wed and Thurs from 3pm-8pm, picking the kids up from school in Brighton, then either bringing them home or taking them to after school activities, followed by dinner and a tidy up (fold any washing, empty and clean lunch boxes and do the dishes/tidy the kitchen). Plus making sure homework is organised for an added bonus (no stress on this on though!). You will need your own car, and I'll provide some support for petrol ($10 per day).
If you also like to clean (including bathrooms) you can add an extra 3 hours a week and come and do the cleaning during the day before you drive to school pick on either the Wednesday or the Thursday.
$30/hour

If this sounds good to you, please let me know! Our current nanny is moving to the USA next week and so I'm hoping to find someone who is free either this week, (4 or 5 November) or next Wednesday (11 November) so that my current nanny can show you the ropes.

Kind regards
Kerry

Experienced, Loving Nanny Wanted for Twin Girls

Southbank, VIC | 10 km

Start Date: 04 Jan 27
Applications Close: 15 Dec 26

Posted by Shiba 11 days ago

Job Details: Full-time

Hourly rate not specified

Hello!

I'm a solo parent looking for a wonderful, experienced nanny to help care for my twin girls, who will be eight months old in January 2027 when the role will start.

We are based in Southbank, Melbourne, and I'm hoping to find someone very special who will become a trusted, long-term part of our family.

I am looking for a professional career nanny who is confident, organised and experienced with babies, but who also has a genuinely warm, affectionate and nurturing personality.

It is very important to me that the girls are cared for by someone who enjoys engaging with them, supporting their development and creating a happy, stimulating environment.

The role will involve caring for both girls, managing their daily routines, feeding, developmental play, outings, children's laundry, meal preparation and some light general housekeeping.

Hours: Initially 25–30 hours per week, following my four-week rotating work roster. Hours are likely to increase over time. Some occasional evening and weekend flexibility would be wonderful with advance notice. We will also have an au pair starting from January who will be helping with morning and evenings so this will be hours between 9 am to 5 pm depending on the day.

Pay: Dependent on experience.

Experience: Professional infant-care experience, paediatric first aid qualification and valid WCCC are mandatory. Early childhood qualifications/ nursing/midwifery back ground would be highly regarded.

We also have two dogs, so you must be comfortable having dogs around the home.

A driver's licence would be desirable as the girls get older but isn't essential at present.

This is a permanent position, and I'm really hoping to find someone who wants to stay with us for the long term and become an important part of the girls' childhood.

We're hoping to arrange paid trials in the first two weeks of December, with the position commencing in January 2027.

If this sounds like a fit, I'd love to hear from you. Please send me a little information about yourself, your experience and why you're interested in the role.

Family helper - Tue & Sun 6pm

South Yarra, VIC | 13 km

Start Date: 01 Nov 26
Applications Close: 30 Nov 26

Posted by Christopher 9 days ago

Job Details: Part-time

$40 per hour

Support a single Dad with 3 amazing children! Loving home, dog included.

Looking for a happy, reliable, caring person to become a trusted part of our routine on a long-term basis. The main job is a simple one: on Tuesday and Sunday evenings, collect the kids (14, 9 and 7) from our home in South Yarra at 6pm sharp and drive them to their mum's place on St Kilda Road for 6:30pm. About an hour all up including your return. Some weeks it's one evening, some weeks both. You'd pop in briefly, gather the troops and go. Same person every time - the kids need to know and trust you, so we'd have you over to meet them once or twice first.

If you'd like more hours, I'd love a hand with light housekeeping and/or ironing on a weekday - entirely by arrangement.

Over January there'll be a few Sunday evenings where the kids are holidaying on the Mornington Peninsula (Portsea) - a short local run at 6:30pm, with your travel paid. If you're down that way over summer, even better.

You'll ideally:
- Have experience caring for children and a calm, easy-going, organised manner
- Hold a current Working with Children Check and a National Police Check
- Have two parent references we can call
- Have a full clean driver's licence, with your own reliable car or happy to drive mine (insured for you)
- Be a non-smoker

Minimum 1.5 hours per run, paid weekly. Starting November.

If this sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you - tell me a bit about yourself, your experience, your WWCC and police check status, and your Tuesday and Sunday evening availability. Any questions, just ask.

I'm looking for 1-2 nannies in or near SOUTH YARRA to take my twin infants to childcare 4 days weekly (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday). In the morning, it's quite easy - you change their nappy from the night, give them a formula bottle, and take them to childcare, which is 5 minutes away, between 7-8am in the morning, so it can take about 30-40 minutes total.
In the evening, you pick them up from childcare at 6pm, then feed (solid food)/wash/change them before going to bed at 8pm, so 2 hours total (6-8pm)
In addition, each nanny does 1 day on the weekend, for example, Saturday Or Sunday from 12-5pm (or 1-6pm).
Ideally, you should have experience caring for infants; be friendly, warm, and nurturing; understand infants' needs; have good command of English; and perform light duties, such as kids' laundry, food prep, cleaning after them.
