Hi! We are looking for someone who can help us with school pickups and afternoon care, through all of 2026, starting ASAP as a nanny.
We have three boys who love card games, board games, sport in the backyard, and making food / baking in the kitchen. Harry (9 years old), Jonathan (7 years), and Maxwell (4 years). Max is super curious and adores 1:1 playtime.
Priorities for timeslots is the school pickups on Monday and Tuesday each week. All are picked up from the same school in Kew. Maxwell's pickup is 3pm, the older boys is 3:15pm. Your hours would be from 2:45pm to approx 5:45pm on each day.

Hi! We are a family of 3 - I am Betty (30), my husband Anthony (34) and baby Aria (18m). Aria is absolutely the heart of our family - she is so curious and cheeky! She loves dancing to music, reading books and is hands down an outdoors baby who wants to be outside, rain hail or shine.
We are looking for a babysitter to cover my working hours on Fridays (9am-12pm (3hrs) and/or 2-5pm (3hrs)) starting on a weekly basis from 16 Jan 2026. Anthony and I will both be present and working from home, and Anthony’s workspace is in the living room (which is also sometimes a play space).
What we are looking for in a babysitter: Aria is by temperament cautious, sensitive and slow to warm up, so it is important to us that her babysitter is gentle, patient, empathetic and emotionally-attuned to her and her needs, and is willing to give her full attention and consistency to foster trust. She is also starting to experience big emotions, so we are looking for someone who is able to help her identify her emotions and comfort her through any feelings that may overwhelm her. We would like a babysitter who adopts screen-free and child-led play, and someone who genuinely enjoys playing and engaging with toddlers and is willing to follow Aria’s cues and interests (which might mean potentially repeating the same word over and over again, or playing the same game over and over again!). We are looking for someone to delight in Aria, encourage her and help her understand her experiences.
Some things we will not be expecting you to do include: putting Aria to sleep, making food (other than getting pre-made snacks for Aria), cleaning/housework.
Please reach out if you think you would be a great fit! Looking forward to hearing from you!
We are seeking ongoing babysitting support in Macleod, to assist us with after school/kinder care for our two children, our 5 year old daughter (just started prep) and our 3yr old son (just started kinder). Ideally, the engagement could extend to pickup from school/kinder and then care until we finish work. For the start of the engagement, until the kids and babysitter are comfortable, we could pick up the kids and have them ready at home for the care to begin. Responsibilities would be to care for the kids, play with them, feed them dinner (and cleaning up after play/dishes) and assist with getting ready for bed.
We also have a very friendly dog, an 8yr old golden retriever.

Hi,
We are looking for a babysitter for after school pickups Mondays and Thursdays, including taking the kids to and from activities.
We live in Surrey Hills and have 3 kids, going into grades 2, 4 and year 7. Babysitting will be primarily for our primary school aged boys, who do basketball and swimming, and we’re also looking for the evening meal to be prepared (and served to the kids if needed, depending on the time) - these won’t be gourmet and we’ll leave instructions!
Generally hours would be from school pickup to about 6/6.30pm, but where needed we can flex as hopefully could you.
If this sounds of interest to you, please get in touch, I’d be happy to have a chat and answer any questions.
Thanks very much,
Stephanie
Hello,
My name is Chris, and I wanted to introduce myself and our family. We’re based in Surrey Hills and are currently looking for a babysitter for our daughter, Jazz, who is 5 months old. We also have a 9 year old, Lia but we would be looking after her and dropping at school etc.
We’re looking for someone available for full days, approximately 7:30am to 4:30pm. Care would be for Jazz only, and we’re hoping to find someone reliable, caring, and comfortable looking after babies of this age.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, we’d love to have a chat and see if it could be a good fit.
Thanks so much, and I look forward to hearing from you.
We’re looking for someone awesome to take care of our two boys aged (almost) 4 and 6 at our place in Surrey Hills.
We need someone reliable that can commit ongoing for one day a week on a Thursday (with the potential option of a second day on a Friday). Hours would generally be 7:30am to 5:30/6pm.
Whilst there might be a little bit of food prep needed for the kids, the main focus of the role is caring for and playing with the boys.
The 6 year old will be at school from 9am-3:30 so drop off and pick up would generally be part of the routine for the day. School is a few blocks walk or the car will be available on those days if needed.
Both boys are happy, energetic and always on the go. We are close to a couple of great parks which they love going to and the car is here some days for trips to the zoo and other activities.
We are seeking a kind, reliable, and proactive Nanny to assist with caring for our 15-month-old daughter and supporting us with light household duties.

• Light household tasks such as:
• Washing and putting away clothes
• Meal prepping
• Washing and changing bedsheets
• General cleaning and tidying
Must be:
• Experienced with infants, trustworthy, caring, and helpful
• Comfortable around dogs (we have a friendly 4kg toy moodle!)
• WWC, Covid Vaccinated, First Aid
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.
Hi 😊 We’re looking for a Babysitter to help our family on casual adhoc basis, starting with a one‑off night on Friday 13 Feb from 5–9 PM (flexible, earlier is better). We have two wonderful children, very independent, super sweet 4‑year‑old boy and a fun, energetic 20‑month‑old girl. Our regular sitters have moved away or are expecting, so we’re hoping to find someone who can also be available on an ongoing basis. Both parents work full-time and my husband travels a lot for work )about 50% of time is spent away over the next few months), so we’re looking for someone who can occasionally help on weekends (2–4 hour blocks), plus the odd morning (around 7 AM start) or afternoon (around 4 PM start). Once or twice a month or possibly we’ll also need an evening babysit. Occasional drop-offs or pick-ups would be amazing, we can provide a car with child seats, but you’ll need a licence. Someone is happy to do a bit of house tidying as well would be great!
If you’re warm, reliable, great with little ones, and have weekend flexibility (with some weekday help here and there- this would not often at all, we just like someone that could possibly do this if I was left in a pickle), we’d genuinely love to hear from you. Next Friday is just a chance for us all to meet and hopefully build a long-term connection. Please send a message with a bit about you and your availability. 😊
Rate negotiable pending on the experience or care needed.
We are a family of five in Ivanhoe looking for a nanny to care for our 3 kids after school on Monday and Tuesday. Our current nanny's university timetable does not allow for her to continue her current role.
We have a 9-year-old boy (Grade 4) and 7-year-old boy/girl twins (Grade 2). You would be responsible for school pick up, taking kids to after school activities, doing readers with the kids, preparing kids' dinner and minor housework (cleaning lunch boxes, emptying dishwasher if required, dinner clean up).
School is within walking distance, or you will also have access to our car or 2 x booster seats if you would prefer to use your car. At this stage, the only after school activity is tutoring on Monday in Heidelberg for our eldest son, which would require you to drop him off at 4.30pm.
Also, if you would be happy to start earlier on one day to assist with kids' washing (folding and putting away) and other light household tasks, please let me know.
My husband and I work from home occasionally, so one of us may be home on some of the days, but we have a separate study and generally keep out of the way!
We also have an over friendly cocker spaniel called Frankie who will be happy to have a new friend to pester for pats.
Rate: $30 + p/h depending on experience (happy to discuss)
Please get in touch if this sounds of interest to you! Also happy to chat if you can only do some of the days required.
Hi, we are looking for someone to care for our 3 children aged 9-11 (1 boy and 2 girls). This will include taking to school and collecting, and any sport training after school (all within 10km from house)
If you like to keep busy and think you could help us out- please reach out.
We are a friendly, relaxed family looking for a caring and energetic nanny/babysitter to look after our two daughters who are 2 (nearly 3) and 4 (nearly 5). We are looking for Thursdays from February ongoing through the year, and then the potential for extra days during school holidays.
Previous experience with preschoolers and first aid/working with children check is preferred.
We look forward to hearing from you!
