We are a warm, busy family of five based in Mount Waverley, looking for a reliable, energetic, and proactive housekeeper / family helper to support our home and children on an ongoing basis.
About Our Family
We have three children aged 2, 5, and 8. Our household is loving and lively, and life moves quickly. My husband works in a demanding CEO role, and I manage much of the day-to-day care of the children and home. We value a clean, organised environment and recognise that having the right support makes a big difference to family wellbeing.
About the Role
This role suits someone who enjoys being an all-rounder — supporting both the home and the children with warmth, energy, and initiative. It’s ideal for someone who naturally notices what needs doing and enjoys helping a household run smoothly.
Responsibilities may include:
• General house cleaning, tidying, and maintaining a high standard of organisation
• Laundry, folding, and household management
• Weekly meal preparation and kitchen support
• Actively engaging the children — including outdoor play, walks, physical activities, arts and crafts, and creative play
• Supporting homework and learning routines for school-aged children
• Helping ensure the children’s daily needs and routines are supported and running smoothly
• Occasional babysitting and supervision, including some evening babysitting (typically Saturday nights from time to time)
About You
• Experienced in housekeeping and working with families
• Energetic, active, and enjoys engaging with children of different ages
• Comfortable helping with homework, creative activities, and daily child routines
• Takes initiative and works independently
• Comfortable supporting a home with high cleanliness standards
• Reliable, trustworthy, and warm in nature
• Police check and references preferred
