Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I am Khrys and I am a 22 year old Ukrainian international student at the Uni of Melbourne for a semester. I am looking for a part-time/casual babysitting to make some extra cash while doing the thing I love. I have two younger brothers and two younger cousins whom I pretty much raised. I am also a godmother of 2 kids, and I have an Eastern European mother (who taught me everyhting). Basically I adore children of any age and have a bunch of experience. I do not have a car, however, or a driver's license, if it is a dealbreaker for you. I speak 6 languages so more than happy to tutor your kids while babysitting them. Looking forward to meeting you!

Hello, My name is Jessica, im 28 and from the UK. Before coming to Australia I worked in kindergarten back home. I worked there for 3 years. While working there I completed many safe guarding courses I also did my first aid course. I looked after children from the ages of 3 months up to 5 years before they left for school, however I have had lots of experience with children older than 5 as my brother is 10 years younger than me, and I have lots of nieces and nephews who are 5years + and they are all my best friends. I really miss working with children, it makes me so happy to see children grow and progress physically, emotionally and educationally. I’m fun, warm and friendly, and love to make the children laugh and be silly with them however I’m also very caring and patient so if they need a hug I’m always there, or if they need someone to talk to I’ll always be there for them. I currently waiting for my working with children check. I look forward to speaking to you!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Families! My name is Leila, I am 24 and currently living in Melbourne, and originally from Scotland! At home, I worked as an Early Years Assistant for over 2 years at 'Thrive Childcare and Education', caring for and engaging with children from all walks of life, from the ages 0 to 5 years old (A job I absolutely loved!). Day to day, I created and got involved in new and engaging child-centred, creative and imaginative activities both indoors and out. My job also included personal care, such as changing and toileting support and overseeing mealtimes positively and safely. Alongside this, I tutored 5 to 15-year-olds in Maths and English at 'Kevs Class Tutoring', focusing not on academic outcomes but on building trusting relationships with parents and children to build confidence in these subjects. In the holidays, I also assisted in creating and running fun activity day camps for the same children, which was lots of fun! My degree in Psychology really kick-started my interest when learning about child development as part of my course, and the importance of a positive, fun and supportive environment and the carers a child is surrounded with. I absolutely love guiding and engaging children, and I find building relationships with both the children and their families such an important and rewarding part of the job. I look forward to hearing from you!

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi Families! My name is Molly, I am 21 years old and I live in Carlton but I grew up in Wangaratta Victoria. I am currently in my third year at university and I have just begun my degree in nutrition science, working towards becoming a peadiatric dietitian. I also currently work at the Royal Childrens Hospital, and before moving to Melbourne, I completed a gap year working at a General Practice. My boss who is a GP at the practice, also happens to be the family I babysat for whilst I was still living at home. I was taking care of their 3 year old boy Harrison, who loved going to the park, playing games and cooking! I have occasionally worked with kids between newborns, all the way up to 12 years old, so I have had a variety of experience. I adore playing with the kids I babysit, I am a very active and outgoing person and I am very switched on with their needs and emotions. I have helped out with a lot of homework, bedtime routines, engaging activities as well as downtime. I am also experienced in caring for children with disabilities and behavioural needs. I would be so excited for the opportunity to meet your family in the near future! Thankyou!

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi there, This is just a small snapshot of one of the people you’re considering trusting with your child. I’m a qualified early childhood and primary teacher with over 10 years’ experience working across 0-3 early years, kindergartens, primary schools, and special education settings. I have recently moved into a casual teaching position to have some flexibility in my days, while still doing what I love. My practice is trauma-informed, inclusive, and grounded in safety, connection, and respect. I support children to build confidence, emotional intelligence, and self-regulation through calm guidance, play, and co-regulation. I bring art, music, storytelling, dancing, and laughter into each day - alongside early literacy, numeracy, body safety, sensory supports, and social learning. I’ve worked closely with families and professionals across a range of complex needs, including Child Protection Services, NDIS, Cohealth, and allied health teams. I’ve supported children through challenging behaviours, medical incidents, and big life transitions - always with care, empathy, and professionalism. I also offer homework support up to Grade 4 and love helping children who may need that little bit of extra time, patience, or understanding. Most of all, I aim to be someone both you and your child feel safe with - consistent, kind, fun, and trustworthy. ☺️ P.s. Happy to provide my full resume and family references post initial contact.
