Hi! My name is Orvokki, and I am a 20-year-old woman who is currently studying music at UniMelb. I have worked as a piano and violin teacher since I was 13 years old, and I have many years of babysitting experience, so I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. I am originally from the country, but moved to the city to study. I grew up in Mansfield, then moved to Castlemaine as a teenager, and was educated in Steiner schools in both towns. Hi, I’m Lilly, I’m currently a student studying a bachelor of Speech Pathology and eventually would love to work in a paediatric clinic or hospital! At age 15 and onwards I was involved in volunteering as water safety for nippers at Point Leo SLSC, where I assisted children aged 6-14 years old swimming and paddling on boards in rough conditions, helping to build their confidence and surf lifesaving skills. Throughout the holidays, I’ve looked after children aged between 3-12 years old around the neighbourhood. I currently nanny two boys 3 full days a week which i love!! I'm looking to work with another family, mostly afternoons and shorter shifts or a full day on wednesdays. I am a very active person who loves the outdoors, whether that’s camping, surfing, swimming, running, triathlon or walking my border collie! In the past with other kids, I’ve also enjoyed taking them to the park, for walks, doing creative activities such as painting and drawing. And of course, playing games and outdoor activities. I also have had experience and enjoy helping out with homework, driving to school or sport, cooking dinner, reading, washing and getting kids ready for bed.
