Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’ve grown up with many younger siblings and often took on the responsibility of caring for them, which helped me develop a genuine love for children, especially their curiosity and playful nature. I’m passionate about caring for others and supporting anyone who needs assistance or simply someone to be there for them. To further pursue this passion, I’ll be starting a Diploma of Nursing later this year. I am currently seeking a casual or part-time position where I can gain experience, contribute meaningfully, and continue developing my skills in caring for others.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Emma. I have over 16 years experience in early childhood and hold my Diploma in Children's Services and Working With Children's Check. For 15 years I worked as a room leader at a small early learning centre, where I cared for children aged 0-6 and eventually was the Assistant Director for a few years. I also worked as a kindergarten assistant at a sessional kinder, while nannying for two families in the afternoon/ evenings. I left my role at the kinder and nannying at the end of 2019, just before my daughter was born. She will be starting school this year, giving me availability to work with more families. I’ve had lots of other experience over the years (including currently) with casual and regular babysitting / nannying for children of all ages. I prioritise building trusting relationships with the children I care for, where they can feel safe and accepted to be themselves and know that their opinions, needs and interests are valued. When I’m nannying, the children’s needs always come first over any cleaning etc. But I utilise my time and do my best to maintain a tidy environment. I’m also very passionate about supporting parents, particularly mums, and helping ease their load around the home. I understand the difference an extra pair of hands can make to mums and dads, so I’m happy to discuss specific tasks or home duties that may help ease your mental load and free up some time for your own self care. I’m a genuine, easy going and honest person. I love finding experiences that spark children’s joy and imagination and bringing this into our time together. I respect the values, structure and expectations of the families I work with and do my best to maintain consistency in this. I’ve always loved my work with children and their families and since becoming a mum myself, I’ve come to appreciate and understand even more, just how important it is to find the right person to welcome into your family, home and children’s lives. If you feel that my personality and experience might suit your family, please feel free to get in touch. Thank you
