Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello my name is Emma, I am an artist looking for nannying and babysitting work. I have always loved looking after children, I have 17 years experience. The ages I have looked after have ranged from babies to upper primary school. As a nanny I am most familiar with ages 9months up, I enjoy creating a safe, fun and engaging environment - with sensory, art/craft and outdoor activities. I also like fitting in a walk/outing around the routine of the children in my care. I see my role to work alongside the parents, making sure we are on the same page, I like to talk through or write down what happened in a communication diary as I am mindful and respectful of family time. Happy to do light house-work, occasional errands and food prep - so long as this does not take away from the care of the children. I am an artist and bring creative ideas to my role. I am looking for part-time mother's helper work or casual babysitting. Especially interested in half days spread over the week. Happy to negotiate for right fit. However, I am not interested in working a split shift. Families have said that I am loving, reliable and a responsible carer of children. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Emma :-)

I am a young, optimistic recent high school graduate seeking employment to support my current studies. I provide a gentle, calming environment for children and wish to support parents 'me time' in any way I can! Having grown up with a military father I understand how work/study/livelihood can be consuming of a parents time, and wish to support your children and household in any way I can! I love cleaning and organizing as a daily relaxation task, while enriching and bringing joy to children's lives.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Charlie, I am 18 years old. Last year I graduated from Melbourne Girls Grammar, and this year I am studying Science at Monash University. I am the eldest daughter and granddaughter across all my family, so to say I have experience with kids is an understatement. I have been looking after all my cousins and especially my siblings for as long as I can remember. Because of my experience with children, I have also been babysitting for other families on and off since I was 13. More recently, I've also started working with a neurodivergent boy who I help look after and mentor each week. I would like to say that I am very good with kids because I am very patient with them, I am an empath and I care for everyone more than they know. I am incredibly genuine and laid-back, as my family would say. I also enjoy cleaning and organising a lot so if that is required from me I am more than happy to help in that way too.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Sabina, and I've been caring for children for 8 years. I'm currently studying Human Rights Law at university, and I love working with children alongside my studies. For the past 6 years, I’ve been a nanny for a wonderful family with three children. When I started, they were aged 2, 5, and 7, but as the youngest turns 6, my responsibilities are winding down, so I’m looking for a new family to support! When caring for children, I create a fun, energetic, and relaxed environment that encourages adventurous play. My experience with children aged 1-14 has helped me understand different learning styles and find ways to entertain and engage each child. I'm passionate about being responsible while also building a friendly, open connection to make them feel relaxed.. My previous duties have included: Caring for children for extended hours (ie co-ordinating busy school holidays with 4+ children) School/activity drop-offs and pickups Preparing dinners and school lunches Taking children to appointments and activities Taking children and their friends to play centres Light housework and household management When I nanny, I enjoy staying active, especially with outdoor play, park visits, and sports. I also love baking, arts and crafts, and imaginative games—depending on each child’s interests! My experience with a family of four young children has helped me excel in a fast-paced environment, and I’m confident in managing busy schedules. I'm reliable, punctual, and would love to build a long-term connection with a family who needs my support. Please let me know if you have any questions about myself or my experience. Sabina. (Pictured is a photo of me and my dog ...I also love caring for all house pets if needed!) Thanks so much, Sabina. 0487 222 300.

I’m 25 years old and completing a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources) at Swinburne University. Over the past few years, I have gained extensive experience in childcare and professional settings, most recently working in recruitment and people management. Having decided to step back from corporate work to focus on my studies, I am eager to return to a more hands-on, fulfilling role supporting families and caring for children. I have comprehensive experience caring for children across a wide range of ages, from newborns through to school-aged kids. My previous roles have included looking after two energetic boys (aged 5 and 8) and two wonderful girls (aged 4 and 6). Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

NANNY AND NURSE - NEWBORN/INFANT SPECIALIST AND HOUSEHOLD MANAGER Hi Families, I’m a Registered Nurse, Child & Family Health Nurse and childcare qualified nanny with over 11 years experience working with babies, young children and families. Over the years I’ve worked as a private nanny, paediatric nurse, and in early childhood settings - but nannying has always been what I’ve loved most. I really value the closeness of working alongside one family and becoming a long-term trusted, consistent support. Most of my experience has been with newborns and infants, including long-term roles caring for babies from birth through toddlerhood. Some of my previous roles have included: • Newborn from birth until 18 months (40-50hrs/week) • 12 week old baby until 2.5 years old • Live-in maternity nanny support - newborn and mother in the early postpartum period • Infant room educator in childcare • Travel nanny - families with multiple children and overseas travel • Twin newborns - night and day nanny The newborn/infant stage is genuinely my favourite age to work with. I love everything that comes with those early years - feeding, settling, routines, introducing solids, developmental play, getting out for walks and activities, and helping parents feel a little more supported and rested during a stage that can be beautiful but also exhausting. Alongside nannying, every role I’ve had has also involved helping households run more smoothly day to day. I’m very comfortable assisting with family laundry, keeping kitchens tidy, meal prep/light cooking, changing bed linen, nursery organisation, grocery shopping and running errands. I’m naturally very organised and genuinely enjoy helping create a calmer, more manageable home environment for busy families. Something I really value is the relationships that come from this work. Every nannying role I’ve had has been long-term, and I’ve stayed in contact with all of the families over the years. I think inviting someone into your home and into your child’s life is a huge thing, and I never take that trust lightly. Becoming a mum myself has only deepened that understanding. At the moment I’m looking for a role ideally 2-4 days per week with a family wanting ongoing, long-term support. My rate begins at $40/hr. Qualifications & Checks: • Bachelor of Nursing • Postgraduate Diploma in Child & Family Health Nursing • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care • Working With Children Check • Police Check • First Aid & CPR If I sound like I could be a good fit for your family, I’d love to hear from you. Please comment below and I’ll be in touch! Many thanks, Jasmine

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

RELIABLE & CARING BABYSITTER NEAR PRAHRAN. Hi! I'm Marine. I grew up in Europe (half Belgian/half Dutch), but have been lucky enough to call Australia home for the past 10 years (now a citizen). I used to babysit a lot back in Europe and have been missing being around children (I've got three young nieces & nephews back home). By day I work in marketing (half from home, half in the office), speak 5 languages and love to stay active (swimming, yoga, dancing, hiking...), read, make art, and in nature. Just graduated my yoga teacher training as well which is very fun to play around stretching with children. I'd love to help your family out with casual evenings or weekends. Whether it be for play time, dinner time, bath time or home work. I care about understanding what matters to you as a parent, the vibe of your family, and want to provide the outmost care and attention to your children. Also happy to help out with light household chores such as cooking and cleaning up. I have a car and drivers license so am flexible with times and can help with pick ups/drop offs if required. First aid trained, I’ve been told I have a calming presence, am reliable, patient, empathetic and a strong communicator. I believe in kindness, fun, respect, honesty, and playfulness. Happy to call/Facetime or meet in person to go through any questions you may have and learn about your little one(s)' needs. :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there, My name is Chloe and I've been nannying/babysitting for many years around the Bayside area. I nannied full-time for two separate families between June 2017 and August 2019 whilst completing my undergraduate studies, and have babysat for various families in the area since 2016. I grew up in a big extended family (on both sides), and have always been surrounded by kids, toddlers and babies. I studied Nursing/Midwifery for a year after school, and whilst this wasn't the career for me in the end, I learnt a great deal in that year. I'm still very interested in childhood development and love getting to know kids of all ages; I think they can teach you great perspective and how to enjoy the little things in life. I also became an Auntie in 2023 and have been helping my brother and SIL out with the little one ever since, so I’m very comfortable with babies and toddlers! My gorgeous niece is now 2.5 :) I'm involved in a school tutoring program for children living in the Collingwood and Richmond commission housing through Operation Stitches and am finding this extremely rewarding to be a part of. I tutor two Year 6 kids and it's been fantastic to watch them grow in both confidence and skills throughout the school year. A bit about me - I love to get out in nature as much as possible, enjoy gardening and tending to my ridiculous amount of indoor plants! I'm a huge animal lover, and volunteer with a rescue organisation which I absolutely love; they have a farm sanctuary in the Yarra Valley which I try to get to once a month. I also love to cook, head on walks with my 8 yo dog and I certainly get around a board game! Regarding my availability, I'm currently working at a cafe as I was made redundant from my corporate role in December, so my availability changes week to week. I'm available weeknights after 3pm and weekends for the foreseeable future. I want to be transparent that I am looking for a full-time role in my field, but I don't know how long that will take. Due to this, I'm not a suitable match for families who are looking for a long-term commitment and I also don't want to waste your time! I'm currently working at a cafe 4-5 days a week and finish by 2.30/3pm each day I’m there. The roster changes slightly week to week, but my manager can be flexible for certain days off to accommodate my nannying/babysitting if need be. I have a WWCC, Police Check and First Aid and am happy to provide all of this to you if you'd like. I can also provide you with references, both current and past families. Feel free to get in touch! Thanks, Chloe
