Hello! I’m Alba, a Spanish native who has been living in Australia for a year an a half ( my visa ends on Dec 2027) . I’m an empathetic, assertive, and resourceful caregiver who genuinely loves working with children and helping them grow. My experience with kids started back in Spain, where I tutored students aged 8 to 12 helping them with school asignments. • Reviewed and consolidated what was taught at school (grammar, vocabulary) • Prepared for exams and tests • Helped with homework I later worked as a nanny for a family with two children (ages 8 and 10) in a casual basis for almost two years, handling their full afternoon routine: walking them home from school, playing and going to the park, preparing meals, organizing and tidying , helping with homework, reading together, bath time, and bedtime. I hold a Working With Children Check. WHY ME? • My empathy makes me to build close, trusting relationships • My genuine drive to keep learning; I love the process of adapting and growing • A strong sense of responsibility and awareness when it comes to children’s wellbeing and safety • I see this as a truly special opportunity to learn from your family’s culture and way of life, which is different from my own. Hi Mum and Dads. My name is Monique and I am base in the North Shore. I am a compassionate and driven 22-year-old emerging social worker in the final semester of my Bachelor of Social Work at Western Sydney University. Alongside my studies, I have successfully run my own activewear business for the past three years, strengthening my leadership, organisation, creativity, initiative, and ability to balance multiple responsibilities. With over eight years of experience supporting children and families across schools, preschools, clinics, community settings, and private homes, I have developed strong communication skills, emotional maturity, patience, and a trauma-informed approach to practice. Throughout my studies, I have also gained valuable experience working with families in private nannying roles while completing a placement with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, where I developed advanced skills in case writing, client assessments, initial client contact, conference coordination, and supporting individuals and families through highly sensitive and complex matters—practical experience that many students at this stage of their careers have not yet had the opportunity to gain. Outside of my professional experience, I am incredibly family-orientated and believe strong family values are the foundation of a happy and supportive home. I love to cook—it has always been in my blood—and I enjoy creating warm, welcoming environments that bring people together. I consider myself a well-rounded individual who is fun, energetic, creative, respectful, reliable, and approachable. I pride myself on having strong morals and values and strive to be a positive role model for the children I care for, demonstrating kindness, empathy, integrity, and respect in everything I do. I am passionate about helping children, young people, and families thrive, and I bring warmth, dedication, professionalism, and a genuine love for working with people to every opportunity.
