I am a first-year Nursing student at Griffith University and have a passion for improving the lives of others and making someone’s day better! I am a quite active individual and I love to play sports, draw, and cook. Additionally, I enjoy cleaning and spending time with kids. I personally have a 3-year-old nephew who I absolutely adore and love taking care of. I often read books with him, play soccer with him and prepare his meals for him. I have worked with many families & loads of children of all different ages & needs. One particular family i have worked with for 8yrs. Starting when he was just 11months. I treat each child as individuals & love to play & support where they are on their adventure. Keeping light & breezy but still have strong boundaries. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person.
