We’re a friendly Vaucluse family seeking a reliable after-school helper for our two children (8 and 13).

The role primarily involves school pickups and driving our 8-year-old son to activities, with occasional transport for our independent teenage daughter.

On quieter afternoons, we’d appreciate light household assistance including meal preparation, laundry, vacuuming and general tidying.

Own car and full driver’s licence required. We’re looking for someone warm, responsible and dependable.

Experienced Nanny — Bondi | 3 Afternoons per Week
We're a family of four living in Bondi, looking for a warm, reliable nanny to join us on a part-time basis.

The role
You'll work 3 afternoons per week, starting at 1:30pm. Your afternoon will involve preparing snacks, a family dinner, then taking our car (or yours if you have one) to collect our two boys — our 4-year-old from preschool and our 5-year-old from primary school. Once home, you'll oversee afternoon tea, support our eldest with homework, and engage both boys in play-based activities before moving into the dinner and bedtime routine. Finish time is typically 7pm, though some evenings may run later if we have a work commitment or evening event.

About our boys
Two kind, gentle and curious boys aged 5 and 6. They thrive with consistency, warmth, and someone who brings genuine enthusiasm to their afternoons.

What we're looking for

Proven experience caring for young children
Confident and competent driver (you'll use our car for school pick-ups)
Comfortable with cooking simple, nourishing family meals
At ease with homework support and age-appropriate activities
Calm, reliable, and genuinely fond of kids
Current first aid certificate preferred
Working with Children Check required

Location: Bondi, Sydney
Hours: 1:30pm–7pm (some evenings may extend) 3 days per week

Hi, we have two children, one that is in year 2 (daughter, aged 8) and one in year 3 (son, aged 9). Needing help with morning drop off's and pick ups in afternoon. We also need more help every fourth week since Dad goes away for work 1 in 4 weeks.

Most days have after school activities so pick up times vary a touch. There is the opportunity to use my wife's car if that makes life easier.

There is also opportunities for baby sitting on weekends or the evenings too if keen.
We are trying to find someone for the year minimum.

The morning involves being at us between at 0730 and then finishing by 0900 (kids are typically dressed, ready to go to school and just need supervision and drop off, they can do go with the flow so no parking at school needed).
The afternoons typically involve pick up 1700 and finishing by say 1930 (or more especially week I am away).
We would be happy to lock in an evening that you babysit till say 2100 or so, so my wife and I could head out for dinner. Tuesday is a 1530 pick up so a little bit longer.

The schedule would be
Week 1: mon to thurs am and pm
Week 2-4: tues and wed am and pm

We currently have 2 girls (4, and almost 2) and a 3rd girl on the way (due end of November). We are looking for a full-time nanny that has experience with newborns and toddlers and flexibility with their schedule. On a regular basis, we are looking for 8-9 hours of help per day from Monday through Friday. We will have a separate live-in nanny to help take care of the newborn for the first 2-3 months, but after that we would want our nanny to help with the baby as well. Our 4 year old will be in school most of the day. Thank you!
