Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, My name is Vanessa and I have been doing nanny, house manager and babysitting work for over 30 years. I have been a career Nanny for about 15 years and I am looking for a permanent nanny role. I need to redo my first aid/CPR/anaphylaxis certificate, but I do have have my blue card, criminal history check, traffic history report and reference contacts from my previous families. I am looking for a nanny role preferably on a long-term permanent part-time/full time basis (2-3 long days per week 30+ hours or permanent 4-5 days (40+ hours). I have done very long days previously (8-12+ hours per day), overnights and weekly work and can offer other hours to work around your schedule. I am looking for full days and no split shifts. I’d also be happy to do some casual work for the short term. I have experience caring for children of all ages and I am very reliable and create a fun and happy environment for all the family. I have lived in Brisbane all of my life and I have worked in a lot of different suburbs in and around Brisbane. I always use common sense around the house and clean up after myself and the children. I am willing to do light housekeeping (dishwasher, wipe down kitchen benches, children's washing and cooking etc) if time permits throughout the day (no heavy cleaning) but your children always come first. I am very flexible and can do long days, overnight stays and can usually do last minute emergency work if you need me to. I have always worked for professional families (Self Employed, Medical, Lawyers, Accountants etc) and I understand that a lot of flexibility and reliability is needed when being a nanny. Please note that I am happy to have a meet and greet interview with families. If a work 'trial' is required, my time is to be paid in cash (minimum 3 hours) on the day at the hourly rate. Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter. I am a very young at heart, fun, bubbly and caring person and love doing old fashioned care with children (reading, nursery rhymes, arts and crafts, outings, cooking and much more). I honestly put my heart and sole into all of my nanny work and can offer you long term stability. Ideally I would love a long term sole charge 1 child role, but I am open to other options. Thank you for reading my profile. Please contact me if you want further information.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I am Fernanda. I previously worked as an au pair in the United States, where I looked after the kids and helped with their daily routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups, homework, playtime, and just the general flow of the household. At the same time, worked with other families with occasional child care. I absolutely loved the experience. Spending that much time with children means you really become part of their world, and they become part of yours too. Something that means a lot to me is that I’m still very close with my host family. For me, working with kids rarely feels like a job, they really do become part of my extended family. I’m a pretty energetic and hands-on person, and I enjoy doing things with kids rather than just supervising, crafts, games, imaginative play, helping with homework, or getting outside and keeping them engaged. I’m also a very private and respectful person, and because I’ve lived and worked inside a family home before, I completely understand that balance families need, having someone help and support the household while still respecting their space and privacy. Communication is KEY! Since my au pair years I’ve continued travelling and living abroad, and I’ve been in Australia for a few years now. Those experiences have made me really adaptable and comfortable working with different families and routines.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'am an experienced and caring childcare professional with over three years working in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) with children from Prep to Grade 6. Having also raised my own children, who are now adults, I have life experience and understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where kids can learn and thrive. I'm currently seeking casual babysitting or a part-time nanny position (around two days per week). I love helping children explore the world around them, encouraging curiosity, kindness, and confidence in everything they do. I love reading with children, teaching them how to cook, and going on adventures. Given I also thoroughly enjoy working at my other job in events, casual babysitting and/or nannying with pre-arranged dates would be ideal. Most weeks are fine but sometimes have events to go to at 5pm. I was recently a nanny 2 days a week for a month for a family at Wilston whilst my daughter was in Europe and really enjoyed the experience. Happy to do a temporary role until you find your nanny. Especially interested in before or after school care assistance, assisting with school pick up and afternoon routines.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a motivated and reliable individual with a strong passion for working with children and supporting their development in safe, engaging environments. Through my previous experiences, I have developed strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills. During my time volunteering as a water polo coach at St Andrews Anglican College (my high school), I worked weekly with primary school students, helping them build confidence and develop new skills. This role strengthened my patience, leadership and ability to support children as they learn and grow. I further developed these skills while working in the United Kingdom as an Activity Assistant and Camp Leader with PGL Travel for 7 months. In this role, I supervised and supported children aged 6–18 during outdoor education activities such as rock climbing and team games. I was responsible for ensuring their safety, guiding them through activities, organising free-time games and helping create a positive and supportive group environment. I spent every day caring for them. This experience confirmed my passion for working with children and taught me the importance of adaptability, responsibility and positive role modelling. I currently hold a valid Queensland Blue Card and bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s wellbeing and development.
